Have gotten a few spray tans from Katie now and I can definitely say these are the best spray tans I have ever gotten. She is super professional, quick, and thorough, and the vibe of her studio is so cute. My tan was PERFECT for Stagecoach & I got so many compliments - the fade was natural and not splotchy at all. I went back a few weeks after my first tan for a second before a work trip and again, it was PERFECTLY done (and of course, more compliments). I will definitely be using Katie for all future tanning needs

Katie is the best! I have been to see her twice for spray tans and her service is impeccable. She is very thorough with instructions before you arrive and with aftercare instructions. If you follow all of her guidelines you will have a great tan that lasts you a week, and maybe longer. I started to see Katie for more services like sugaring and facials. This was actually the first facial I ever ever had and Katie did not disappoint! She asked about all of my skin care needs and put together a facial custom for me. It was incredibly relaxing and hydrating, and she also did extractions for me. Ask Katie about specials that she runs on Wednesdays, and about her new membership packages as well. Katie is very personable, knowledgeable, and reliable. She responds very quickly to Instagram or text messages. She's very helpful if you have questions about the your pre-care or aftercare routine. I especially love that parking behind her building is free and I've never had to wait for a spot. Highly recommend Katie for your sugaring needs! Booking an appointment was super easy, the location had ample parking, Katie was on time and realllly good at what she does. Pain was minimal, the process was quick, and Katie was really easy to talk to, which is always a plus when you're getting hair pulled from your skin! The cherry on top was that when it was time to pay, I realized I didn't have much cash for a tip but Katie actually is happy to take a credit card. I've NEVER had a beauty service where I didn't feel like an a*hole for not having cash but not with Katie! Hoping I can get to see her one more time before I leave the state. A great experience. I was seeking a new sugarista after a year at another establishment that doesn't allow you to book your favorite sugarista. Who wants to go in and see a different "stylist" every single time and explain what you want? This place was clean, comfortable and she applied without pain!! Very country French. Just leave a message and she will get back to you with a date and time as soon as she can. She offers: sugaring, facials, microdermabrasion and peels. Sugaring is an interesting, up and coming technique in California, although it is used around the world and has been for centuries we are just starting to see this method really become available. As far as pain goes removing the hair was painless for me but the spreading of the sugar felt a little uncomfortable. Where with waxing the application of wax is painless and the removal is uncomfortable. The main difference between the two, that I noticed is that I had less hair grow back after my first sugaring. I tried sugaring instead of waxing because my friends (in various other SoCal cities) all really enjoyed the results. And I am a fan too! So I definitely recommend westlake sugaring and Jennifer for any hair removal! Take this opportunity to try sugaring and chances are you will not go back to waxing.

The esthetician, Natalie, was not gentle and seemed very upset when I needed to take breaks. She just kept going and telling me to hold my skin. Out of annoyance, she asked me several times if I wanted to continue (rolling her eyes). I understand that waxing is difficult but I think with it being a vulnerable experience (everything out in the open), it could've been handled with more caution. I was very nervous about going because you never know what you're going to get at a new place. The parking is a bit of a challenge because it's a very busy shopping plaza. I was able to get a spot as someone was just leaving. Walking into Top Nails, it is a very busy business but everyone was happy, so that's a good sign. My tech was a bit late, but Steve came to file off my nail color and prepped my nails, apologizing for them running late. I didn't mind, but his concern was appreciated. My appointment was with BinZ who was very friendly. I needed a bio gel fill, and he really impressed me! He was very thorough, and did a TERRIFIC job! I booked another appointment with him for 2 weeks later. He will definitely be my go-to person! My only negative experience was when I went to pay. There were at least 3 girls behind the counter doing their accounting for the day. Not one of them addressed me or offered to assist me after I gave them my charge ticket. (Note: They take cash, check or Zelle only since they don't have card reader.) Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure how to proceed but soon figured out that I could use their tel# or QR code to Zelle them. Overall, the staff is very friendly. I am going on a trip tomorrow and decided I wanted to pay to get them professionally done for the occasion to treat myself. This was a very good reminder of why I do them myself now... The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache.

She has been nothing but professional, kind and welcoming. She provides such a comfortable, relaxed vibe and atmosphere. Katie was the first person I saw after moving from CO to CA and after the first visit, I looked no further. She has always made me feel so comfortable, truly cares about her clients and has been a saint when I've had to reschedule last minute at times. I do always make sure that I pay her for that time though. She is on point, the tans always look amazing, she's efficient and I promise that you will never be unhappy with any of her services.
