I hate putting in bad reviews so I sat on this for a while. However, I think people should be warned of the of the false claims and lack of communication from this business. First, false claims: I had bought a special from them that included "emsculpt", other body treatments, along with 3 months of semaglutide and B12 shots. During consult I asked if their EMS stimulation machine was actually from the brand EmSculpt or EmSculpt Neo in which she stated it was not but stated something along the lines of, "It is not the same machine but it does the same thing." failing to mention the part that the intensity of the machine is only a faction of Emsculpt and thus results are not the same. Misleading information. Second, lack of communication: Initially when you inquire about their services, communication was great! They would get back to you within minutes to an hour or two at most. AFTER you have paid and start services is a COMPLETELY different story. When you try to call the number to the business no one ever answers. You always have to leave a voicemail in which no one ever calls back. Within my combined attempts to get refills (1st & 2nd refills) I have called this place at least a handful of times and never do I get a call back. When I've tried messaging them on IG, and texting the number provided, it takes them over a WEEK to get back to you IF they even do at all. The last time I have tried to reach out for a refill was Nov. 22. It has now been a week and still no communication. Needless to say, I will not be returning after I finish my pre-paid services. read more

I found out about this small business through Instagram and was intrigued by the services offered, especially the skincare services. I was able to book my first microneedling and chemical peel appointment through Instagram and pay the booking deposit via Venmo. Booking was easy and I was able to receive confirmation and reminder emails and texts. My esthetician was MG, who is also the owner. She was extremely personable and fun to talk to; we shared many stories and made me feel extremely comfortable. The room where I had my procedure was also dark and had relaxing background music. The microneedling required having numbing cream on your face for about 20 minutes. MG removed my make-up and face products for me and I was able to use my phone while we let the numbing cream settle in. Once we got to the microneedling, she showed me that she was using a brand new needle and started the process. The pain was quite tolerable and the whole process of going all over my face took at least 30 minutes. She also went over my problem areas and continuously checked up on my pain tolerance. The most painful part, for me, was near my hairline, which she did avoid after I let her know. After the microneedling session, she then cleaned off the blood from my face. She then applied two layers of the peel (about 5 minutes between each application). Boy did that burn, but thankfully she gave me a handheld fan to hold in front of my face which is provided the most needed relief in that moment. After the last layer was applied, she then layered on several products to soothe and moisturize my face. I will continue to come back for future sessions. What I like about this business are their hours. If you were to get a microneedling and chemical peel done, expect to look extremely pink the following day and expect peeling to start on the third day. This is definitely something you would. want to do before the weekend. read more

I really hate having to do this, but this place went downhill. I did have one service done here and I believe it was a hydra facial. It was so long ago, but even to get that done it was always a struggle to communicate with the business itself after that facial, I decided to purchase more Morpheus package worth three sessions, which cost me $1675.00 I paid for this back in December 2023 since then I've been trying to get even one session booked and it's been an excuse after excuse. I am in the process of disputing with my bank. Hopefully I can get some of this money back because it's been such a long time now, but I will also be filing with the Better Business Bureau and any govt local services that help protect consumers in situations like this I've also included screenshots of our conversations to show how understanding I was being of her situation and her lack of working as a business to get this resolved. read more

I posted a review three months ago. Since I posted it they opened up renting a space and I went for the hourglass service. My first appointment they didn't have the machines available so I was given a testament I didn't pay for (a cheaper service). My second appointment was the service I paid for. My third and fourth appointment was cancelled at the time of my appointment- I showed up and nobody was there. Mind you it was a 25 minute drive to the salon to show up to have it cancelled. My fourth appointment I texted them the morning of to confirm it would still happens and I hear nothing. But I still showed up only to have them text me they cancelled it because they thought I didn't want to continue when I actually messaged them the day of to confirm. I then asked to cancel the remaining services and issue a refund. I haven't hear from them in weeks. I got a message saying they only reply to messages in Fridays now so i sent messages two Fridays in a row to hear crickets. They're EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. They will take your money. Not respond. I am going to report them to business bureau. They should not be in business. Do not go here. read more

LOVE MG and her cute facial spot! They do more than just facials too! This is my 2nd time getting a facial by MG and she does excellent work! My face feels great after my dermaplaning, high frequency and hydro jelly! I would never trust myself to "shave" my face, but MG does a great job of gently scraping off my dead skin and hair off my face with a medical grade blade. She even gets under my chin and places I wouldn't be able to reach if I did it myself. It saves me a trip to get threaded too! After I get a facial I'm able to apply my makeup more smoothly and my skin feels so hydrated. The hydro jelly smells so good and it's cooling when applied! Save your hard earned money and DO NOT book with this money-grubbing business. They will tell you things and NOT honor their word. I paid for $600+ worth of services but wasn't able to use them all up due to schedule & my skin flaring up. They basically took my money and told me through text that my deal had "expired". Mind you before my deal was about to expire, I came to their office and told them I was concerned about my deal expiring but I didn't want to book anything until my flare up calms down. They assured me that they'll give me credit for the services I wasn't able to use and that even if I don't schedule the rest of the services on the DAY THAT I CAME, I could still use them up after the expiry date. They never honored their word and won't give me credit even though they definitely told me that in person. I was obviously lied to and that's like $250+ instantly out the drain. Your employee should have told me that I would no longer get any of the remaining credit/services after the expiry date. If she did, I would have scheduled them all because no one wants to lose their money, right? That was literally why I came to your office a month before the expiry. Work on your customer service if you want to retain your clients and don't be liars. EDIT: Nothing changes the fact that whatever you texted me was COMPLETELY different from what I was told in person. Also, stop patronizing your customers. I've reported your business to the BBB and I hope you don't get away with lying to your customers and shamelessly taking their money. She made sure I was comfortable and was professional from the first interaction I had with her. I discovered Skinetic on IG and decided to schedule a consultation for some skin concerns. I met with Jordyn a week later to talk about treatment and what would be the best route to take for my concerns. She was very knowledgeable with the information she shared and answered every question I had in regard to my concerns. At the end of my consult I scheduled the Ultimate facial, as well as the VFR package for my skin concerns. Last night I had the Ultimate facial done and it was the best experience. Do not do business here. They canceled my appointment, but still charged me. Now they are ignoring me when I contact them. The girl texted me the day of my chemical peel telling me she was sick but then immediately said oh I can take you this Sunday. Well, if you're really sick on a Friday why would you be so sure that you would be better on Sunday. It was an evident lie. I prepped for that chemical peel all week by not using any of my retinol or other skin care products. I moved my work schedule around it and I needed it done for a special occasion. It totally threw off all my plans, but the real issue here is that they still charged me for that appointment and now I have contacted them five times with no response. Not only did they waste my time the first time but now they are wasting my time by ignoring me and making me contact them over and over again. If they can't be trusted with basic stuff like this I definitely wouldn't trust them with a chemical peel. I'm grateful they canceled. Super unprofessional, it seems like they have no idea what they are doing. My response to the owner: You barely contacted me today after Two weeks of me trying to get in contact with you. Plus you only replied today because I texted you to be a good business owner and finally respond to me. It's been five days since I had my first facial with MG at Skinetic Aesthetics and my skin is look so much better! I suffer random acne but mostly on my cheeks and chin which leaves me with dark spots and rough patchy skin. So when I showed up for my facial I had some active pimples that were large, under the skin and sore. MG's procedures caused the acne to die out very quickly. The facial room was nicely decorated, had the sound of relaxing music flowing throughout the entire process and the products used smelled amazing. I would like to clarify that they booked me through Instagram, and when I was in the office. They never once in any way notified me of a non-refundable deposit (I had a single appointment, no membership or treatment package), and I screenshot their website which showed that it was not specified. Even if they had just failed to notify me, but then it stated no refunds on deposits in their website, I would have been fine. I felt lied to, deceived, and I was treated very unkindly. They shouldn't request a deposit without EVER explaining it is non-refundable to the client, especially right after the client states they aren't sure they want to continue with services. That's deceitful. Like they said themselves, after I cancelled my appointment they "THEN" for the first time told me it was nonrefundable. When my friend recommended this place and mentioned that the owner/beauty technician(Mary Grace!) also had a nursing background, I figured why not! We all still deserve some me-time and Skinetic Aesthetics checked all the boxes off my list. I scheduled a (free!!) consultation and when I arrived to my appointment, all the protocols for COVID were done and taken seriously which is super important to me. I instantly felt comfortable because of that and the cherry on top is how Mary Grace walked me through all the consent forms and the treatment options that would work best for me. I decided on the Hydrafacial and a body sculpting treatment. The staff and Mary Grace are very professional, but their caring demeanor is what sets this place apart.
