I came in for a consultation on laser hair removal and skin lightening for private areas and left with serious concerns sharing this for anyone else who is shopping around. The space itself felt disorganized mismatched furniture, a crowded front desk with no clear flow. Minor on its own, but set the tone. More importantly: I was brought into a consultation room with a man to discuss intimate treatment areas, and his credentials were never introduced or explained. For that kind of service, I expected a licensed esthetician or medical professional who could walk me through the process what device, what settings, what results to expect, and why. None of that happened. Instead the focus was entirely on selling a package (no single sessions available) starting around $1,800 for skin lightening alone. When I mentioned the price was significant, I was immediately asked if I had Care Credit not given any context about the treatment or its value. When I said I needed to think about it, the consultant did not open the door for me, and no one acknowledged me as I left. For services involving sensitive areas and significant cost, you deserve transparency about who is treating you, what they're doing, and why. I didn't get any of that here. read more

I booked my appointment through Yelp, which was convenient, and I arrived early for my visit. Unfortunately, that's where the convenience ended. Despite being early, I still waited an excessively long time, the ordeal took two hours total from arrival to checkout. They were clearly busy, maybe overbooked, either way it showed. When I was finally called back, I met with a staff member who went over pricing, he wasn't pushy, which I appreciated. Based on his recommendations, I paid for three syringes of tox and one full syringe of lip filler and was reassured that everything would be used during that visit. I had to state that I wanted to take advantage of the special online and was met with "oh you have to buy a voucher for that but I'll honor it." FYI: NOTHING online listed anything about a voucher. After that consult, I was sent back to the waiting room for another 20+ minutes. While the waiting area is comfortable (has coffee, water, multiple seating options, and even a massage chair) the wait was still unexpected and frustrating. In all my years of getting tox, I've never had visits stretch anywhere near two hours. The injector was kind and explained what she was doing, but there were some gaps in care. I wasn't provided an ice pack for my forehead or lips afterward, and the numbing cream she used was only mildly helpful. When I asked her to use the full three syringes I had purchased, she declined, saying it wasn't needed and was unsure why they recommended so much. When I went to schedule my two-week follow-up, I was told everything was booked so booked 3 weeks out instead. The injector is only there twice a week, and apparently she's newer to the company. While the clinic is known for their laser services, the scheduling limitations and long waits made more sense at that point, but still didn't feel great. The biggest issue came when I asked about the unused syringe I had paid for. Instead of refunding it, I was told it would be "kept on file" for a future visit. I didn't like that at all. It felt like I was being funneled into returning even though I wasn't fully satisfied. I tried to get clarity, but the front desk repeated the same thing: it would just stay there for "next time." I left feeling rushed, confused, and honestly irritated. I reached out again, shortly after leaving, via Yelp afterward, explaining that I did not recall signing anything allowing them to store unused product and that I wanted my $500 back for the syringe that wasn't used. After some back-and-forth, they finally reversed the charge on my CareCredit. CareCredit also informed me that charging for product not used at the time of service is against their best practices. Because of the scheduling issues and the overall experience, I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment altogether. The injector herself was kind, but the overall process with the excessive wait times, unclear policies, difficulty getting a refund, and feeling pressured to return was highly disappointing. I won't be returning and encourage others to becareful when scheduling and paying attention to what you actually pay for versus what was given to you. read more

I have had laser done before and while it was never completely unbearable, I could definitely feel that classic "rubber band snap" sensation. This time around I genuinely felt NOTHING. Apparently they use this special machine called the gentle max pro (yes I asked lol) that is a lot more advanced and painless. After we were done I was completely destroyed..this was all two days before my 10 year wedding anniversary. I had emailed the next morning about my experience and telling them they need to refund the remaining that were unopened because you couldnt PAY ME to go back.. and he wanted to talk on the phone. I waited until that friday to email back because I wanted to enjoy my anniversary. When I emailed back he said he'd call and we finally talked the next week and he said he would email billing about the refund and then when talking about the experience all together he danced around me being completely taken advantage of and how pushy the consultation guy was... and we got to why I was actually there and I mentioned the laser and he (Eddie) said "you can come in for a free treatment on us to see if youd like it" I WAS TOLD IN THE CONSULTATION THAT THEY DIDNT DO THAT!!!! I am extremely pissed off for being lied to and Eddie didnt seem to care. I would LOVE to speak to the OWNER of this place and see if they really approve of their employees lying to brand new clients that have no idea what they are doing to take advantage of them ...? If you're on the fence about doing laser hair removal, just do it! Spoiled has some of the most friendly staff and a very clean facility. The pricing packages are also reasonable and you're able to do a payment plan to split up the cost. I've been coming for about 4 sessions so far on my underarms, legs & Brazilian and I'm so glad I made the switch. I was previously waxing and kept getting painful ingrown hair but with laser I don't have this issue. After the second session is really where I noticed the biggest difference with the hairs growing in less and much slower. I should be completely done around session 7 or 8 and will only need to maintain less frequently from there. The pain is minimal and the air/laser combo makes a big difference. It's a commitment but a great one to never have to shave or wax again. Worth it! read more
