I recently had an unsettling experience with Madison that I feel compelled to share, in hopes that it might improve their communication and customer service for future clients. I scheduled an appointment for a consultation about their services, eager to learn more and potentially engage with what they had to offer. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was met with a surprising and disappointing revelation on the day of the appointment. Despite not being informed at the time of booking, I was notified there would be a $50 charge for the consultation. This lack of upfront communication regarding fees set a disconcerting tone for the interaction that followed. Seeking clarification, I messaged Madison about the unexpected charge, hoping for an understanding response or at least an apology for the oversight. Instead, the response I received was an inquiry about whether I wanted to cancel my appointment, which felt dismissive and lacked the empathy I expected from a professional establishment. Opting for a more personal touch, I called, hoping for a better explanation and perhaps some understanding. Madison answered and explained the reason behind the consultation fee. I tried to express my empathy for their position, understanding the need to charge for their time, especially in cases where potential clients do not follow through. However, instead of a constructive conversation, I found myself being talked over and met with a patronizing tone. Madison's repeated question, "Do you want to cancel?" felt less like an inquiry into my wishes and more like an insistence, making me feel undervalued as a potential client. This experience has left me feeling disheartened and skeptical about Skinlab's customer service and transparency. While I understand the necessity of consultation fees, the manner in which this policy was communicated and enforced was far from professional. It's crucial for businesses to provide clear, upfront information about their services and fees to foster trust and understanding from the outset. Additionally, treating clients with respect and empathy, especially when addressing their concerns, is fundamental. In conclusion, while Skinlab may offer valuable services, my initial interaction has deterred me from exploring them further. I made an appointment with Jessica for botox and filler correction. Jessica truly was amazing, she could of just sold me whatever and injected me with it and I would of went with it, except that is not what she did. She took the time to really think through what would be the best approach and options for what I was needing. She listened to all my concerns and truly went above and beyond to give me an amazing look. I have since recommended Jessica to several of my friends and they all absolutely love her!!!! Since my injections I have also done IPL with her and I truly could not be happier with my results. I truly get compliments everywhere I go since working with her. Talia Stanley is the best! Follow her on IG @toxwithtal to see her wonderful work. I was thrilled to try this out! I had my lips done as well as a few places on my chin (when I had acne scarring from my late teens) and the process was outstanding. The spa/atmosphere was top-notch and Talia Stanley was the best nurse! I have a very low pain tolerance, and they provided lidocain, a warm blanket and I listened to soothing music the entire time. The entire experience was delightful! I was a bit nervous, but Lauren walked me through everything that she would do and listened to my concerns and wants. The atmosphere was calming, more like a spa, and the procedure itself was near painless and quick.
