I have struggled with weight loss for years, decades. I call myself a professional fat person. I have been on all the popular diets, know the calorie content of foods, the glycemic index, the variations between the Transitions diet and the South Beach diet, the Keto diet and the Atkins diet. I have always battled my weight and my health has suffered because of it. A friend of mine recommended that I check out Skinny Me. I called the office and the young lady who answered thoroughly explained how it works. I did not schedule right away - I am a bargain shopper and I like to think things through. I called a few other places in the Charlotte area and did some research on the hCG diet on my own. Well, to say the least, I had a lot of sticker shock when I called the other places so I called Skinny Me back and made my appointment. I was a little scared of "500 calories"; but, like I said, I like to do my own research when I am putting my money and health on the line. Turns out, this diet is not about calories - it's about getting rid of fat. I talked to my doctor before I went in and she gave me the go ahead. This is a life changing or life saving program. I was overweight, on i was on 5 blood pressure (BP) meds a day. My BP was running around 190 over 100 even with these meds. I was told the program would help my BP and help me drop weight at the same time. After the first week my BP dropped to 145 over 75, two weeks after that it was down to 120 over 65. I now take just one med per day, and my BP is 100 over 58 on average. I also lost 60 lbs. over the last 3 months. This all may sound to good to be true, but if you just follow the program, and use all the resources they offer you should get the same kind of results. People keep telling me they can't believe how different i look, and that is very good to hear. I'm really just so glad that my BP is under control. Like most people getting weight off can be hard and frustrating but the ladies at Skinny Me made it so easy. They provided personal attention and concern with the issues I perceived to exist. I have always struggled losing weight and when a friend told me about their HCG diet, I decided to give them a try! This has been the best decision I have made. The HCG diet was the only one that worked for me, not going to say it was easy but I was decided to change my habits and with the diet I've learned how to keep a healthier lifestyle.
