While waxing I had a million questions about skin care Treatments she offers, I have cystic acne that has left scars and stains on my face which make me self conscious. Kayla is very well versed in all things skin. I booked a microdermabrasion treatment and facial before leaving and I was fully confident she would be the Lady for the job! Kayla did spot testing before beginning to ensure I wouldn't have any discomfort or negative reaction due to my very sensitive skin. Kayla made sure to ask me throughout the treatment how I was doing and how it felt. I am so happy I found Kayla and Carolina Day Spa! My face looked and felt like a baby's skin in just one treatment. Then, I got to meet Lauren (aka-lip goddess extraordinaire) who did my lip filler injections. For reference, I got 1 syringe of Juvederm Volbella. These pictures are my own that I took before the visit and then another an hour afterwards (one is smiling the other relaxed.) I have not done any retouching. There's still some visible swelling in the "after" photo, but I can already tell that my lips are going to look amazing after they settle. Other notes: you have to go into the medical plaza and it's on the second floor. My temperature was taken upon arrival. About You gave me a fresh mask to wear after getting my lips done to avoid getting any bacteria on the injection sites!

I haven't had my eyebrows waxed in probably 15 years but I decided to try her out because there isn't anyone in Pensacola that threads and can achieve a well shaped brow. I was very pleasantly surprised. She offered me something to drink and asked if the music playing in her shop was to my liking. She took her time and this was the least painful wax I have ever had! Halfway through she had me check to see what I thought, I asked her to modify the shape some and I love the end result. The next time after they've grown back in some more I'm sure they'll be the exact shape I used to get threaded from a lady in Chicago on the Millennium Mile. So happy to have found someone in Pensacola!

I purchased a facial/chin contouring package which consisted of 3 treatments. These treatments…read moresupposedly use "radio frequency" to "target"problem areas and "build collagen". Immediately afterward, skin on my neck felt slightly tighter, but the effect was only temporary. Upon completion of all treatments, I did NOT notice any discernible difference between my before/after photos. When I mentioned to the aesthetician that I was disappointed and didn't notice ANY improvement, I was advised to "purchase additional treatments"?!? I was not offered my money back or even a partial refund. A month later, I visited my board-certified physician at Carolinas Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. My dermatologist stated that "there is absolutely no evidence-based research supporting long-term tightening benefits of aesthetic radio-frequency treatments". PLEASE don't waste your money at You & Improved Esthetics!! Consult a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist if you want real results from a reputable source.
