As one user already mentioned, this business owner has horrible scheduling practices. It's one excuse after the other. Something with her car, something with a guest room. If there is an excuse, she has used it. She constantly asks to reschedule or straight up cancels appointments the day of. Sometimes when I am literally on my way to the establishment. I gave this place several chances and there has never been one appointment that I booked in which she did not reschedule. The straw that broke the camel's back is that she had the audacity to blame me for canceling on her after a meeting came up for work. How delusional and unaware. Please learn how to actually run a business. Will never return to this business. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you cannot make an appointment, cancel earlier. Doctor's have a 24 hour rule that states that they will charge you for canceling within 24 hours, maybe people like her need to be held to that standard as well. Save yourself the headache and find someone that actually knows how to honor an appointment. read more

The actual Brazilian service is great and her technique is great.....but her scheduling/appointment practices and below par. Don't make an appointment and really need this service, she might cancel on you. This service is so intricate so you're putting your trust in this person. Due to her attendance I'll never schedule with her again. read more

Went here because I brought a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. My appointment was at 1:30 pm , so I showed up at 1:24 walked in and sat down in the waiting area. Remind you the door makes a loud noise to notify when someone has walked in . I sat there until 1:45 and left . I can tell she was with a client because the door was shut and I heard talking but she never came out to acknowledge me or tell me she was running behind. When I left I called and it went straight to voicemail. Good thing Groupon offers refunds back , never again. read more

I moved from Chicago and have had some aesthetician horror stories (e.g. left covered in oil without a wipe to be found, bleeding, etc). I thought I found a place that was decent but had some turnover and was dreading finding someone new when I moved. After doing some digging, I found Suzanne and Skinsation. She has extensive experience and isn't a pushy salesperson. She does the work you need professionally and at affordable prices. After my first visit, somehow her wax and techniques didn't leave me swollen or in pain like I was previously accustomed to after a Brazillian. And somehow, the wax seemed to last longer than I remember. Her spot is no big frills, so if you want a hoity-toity salon experience, go elsewhere. But she gets the job done as a one woman show and has experience that shows in the great work she does. She's the best aesthetician I've ever had and happy to have found this gem! read more

We each had an attendant massage our arms and legs and feet, while we sat in very comfortable recliners. The attendants also used hot stones, which felt very nice. For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I think it was great value for money too.

Why let me check in for my appointment but then don't service me? Why was another woman with an appointment serviced before me? Why was there no real solution offered except wait for an undisclosed amount of time? I thought people were friendlier down south but clearly the businesses are not. 0/10.

A simple "sorry that happened" would have totally saved this fiasco. Even for private business, customer service requires the skills to be gracious, and that was sadly lacking. I am an ally of the clear community and prefer to patronize small women or businesses, but this one for sure is crossed off my list.

I have been a client of Suzanne's for years. I have followed her to multiple locations, and I'm so happy she has her own place now. The environment is soothing - I feel relaxed even while getting waxed! I have sensitive skin, and the type of wax Suzanne uses is the least inflaming. Suzanne also takes the time to learn how you like your service, she is accommodating and gives attention to detail. I can also recommend facials - I had my first ever by Suzanne. I just cannot recommend this business highly enough! read more
