Previously, my waxing experience has been - get in and get out- quickly walking in, drop your pants, and get on with your day. The biggest thing for me was the precision, time, and heat of the wax. I have been burned before at a bug box waxer, and being a brown skinned beauty my skin is a bit more sensitive to burns and does not always heal nicely. Christine made my experience pleasant and relaxing. She took her time, there was no rush and no burns! Not only was my service a bit cheaper then the big box waxer the customer service was immaculate AND I left with a goody bag filled with loofah to exfoliate, a pen, snd even a mini ingrown hair serum. I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was truly disappointing. I went for a nail fill and polish change, which is $45. I think the price is fairly reasonable, but, unfortunately when you need to go somewhere else and have your nails completely redone just over a week later because your acrylic nails are painfully lifting and even ripping off, it's no longer a good deal. When I got my nails done, the tech did not ask me any questions about length nor shape which I thought was odd. I didn't interrupt, bc everyone does it differently, so I assumed she would ask when she was ready to shape. But she never did. She simply quickly did the fill/color change and sent me on my way. She did not do a good job at getting my nails very close to the edges/cuticles, on the bottom or sides. There was notable space of empty nail on several fingers. Two days after I left, 3 of my nails were already lifting. To their credit, I did return a few days after that when my schedule allowed, and they re did those 3 nails at no charge. Unfortunately, just 3 more days later, two of those three nails and two OTHER nails have either lifted or completely ripped off. For context, I have been getting my nails done consistently since December 2021. I have never even had my nails lift, let alone lift so badly that they eventually rip off, in the nearly two years with my regular technician. I typically go about 4 weeks between fills, and am totally fine. Nails don't lift , break, crack, or tear. I couldn't even go 2 days without it happening here. I will be returning to my primary technician to get a new set of nails, since two have totally ripped off and four more are lifted - in about 1.5 weeks total - including the 3 that were already repaired once. I offered two stars, instead of 1, to be fair to the one god experience I had over a year ago and to acknowledge that they were willing to repair my three nails at no charge. However, this would otherwise easily be a one star review.

The salon itself is nice, and the staff that checks me in and out has always been super kind and helpful. The also have A LOT OF COLOR OPTIONS! Many, many different things to consider; however do note that a lot of the more special color options have up upcharges of $10-25 dollars, such as chromes, cat eye, or certain other polishes. They are transparently noted however which I very much appreciate. The only thing I really dislike is if you pay with a card, they pass on the processing fee to the customer. I personally don't like it when businesses do this - as a business owner myself, I consider it the cost of doing business. I know CC fees add up, but I just personally find it really bothersome and this was not the case at the last nail place, or the place I went before that. However, they do have the option to pay in cash to get around the fee - so I've been trying to withdraw cash before going. They also have a rewards program which I always like for businesses I'll be investing in regularly, and my last place DIDNT have that, so it's a nice option. She was knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and efficient! I experienced the "rapid" tan and this gives you an automatic tan. You can shower (rinse with no soap) about 3 hours after. You then shower 12-24 hours later normally, without shaving. I waited for about 24 hours. I love that you can sleep without the tan getting on your sheets, especially considering ours are white. I got this for an event last weekend and am still loving it! I told her exactly what I wanted, although it was difficult as I had not had a spray tan in probably ten years! She somehow knew exactly what to do, and it was beautiful and natural looking. Almost 6 days later, still tan and beautiful. Me being me, I had plenty of questions. They responded quickly with many answers to ensure my tan would not be affected by what I wore, showering, moisturizers, etc. I highly recommend Tansformations. They have five stars for a reason! For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I held back for so long since it's something permanent on my face but wow do my brows look natural!
