I went on a Saturday for a facial treatment. I had the most beautiful experience. I was over impressed with the knowledge that I had gained this day. Everything was explained and questions were answered. I never felt pressured into purchasing something I did not want. I felt comfortable and questions were deferred to Dr. Elliot when I asked for more information on a certain procedure. I have made an appointment with Dr. Elliot to understand and to find out if I would fit the criteria for a specific treatment. I had seen Dr. Elliot but, when I moved further into Tampa I quit coming to her. Sometimes those types of decisions are not the best. I had laser spider vein removal treatment on legs here a year ago and saw zero improvement. This is evident in the sets of before and after photos that both the clinic and myself took. When I called back to inquire about another type of service a year later, I did mention to the pt coordinator Faith that I hadn't found efficacy with the laser vein Tx (which I had paid a lot of money for) but would still like to have another facial and hands service done and was prepared to spend about $5,000+++ for this. She scheduled me then consulted with the doctor and suddenly the same day they sent an email and text canceling any further treatments at this office. Doc can't handle honest feedback from patient that they didn't find improvement after their prior treatments? She couldn't call me to have that discussion before abruptly canceling a patient relationship? Wow. read more

I went in for dark circles under my eyes. The solution was fillers, which I approved at a cost of $1,860. The results immediately showed asymmetry. I asked to come back in but was told best to wait for swelling to disapate. A month later I called to schedule a follow up to fix the asymmetry and was told two options; dissolve some filler on one side, which I did not want to do given the amount of money I paid for the procedure or I could buy another vile at my costs since there was no left over from the original procedure. I would think that would not be a cost on me as the product should have been applied properly during the first procedure. The response was that it's not an exact science, which I totally understand, but to ask for me to pay seems wrong. I love Dr. Elliott and so disappointed her staff made this my issue. Lesson learned, ask that there be enough product to be left over in the event of like issues. read more

8 months before my wedding, I wanted to find a dermatologist who could help me clear up my complexion. I did a quick google search and found this office very close to my home. I was assigned to Gale, an aesthetician. She listened carefully to my medical history, asked me what my goals were and what type of budget I had. She took before and after pictures and then recommended a skin care system that she felt confident would help me get that picture perfect complexion for the wedding. I followed her instructions to the T and come wedding day, I had picture perfect pores. The office is clean, professional and offers the latest and greatest in aesthetic technology. Parking is easy and there is no fee. I have never waited more than 2 min for my appt. When I can afford the hefty price, I will get a hydra facial that makes my skin glow. It also helps to clear the blemishes. At $150 a pop, I can only do it before special occasions. I highly recommend this office for your skin care needs. I took one star off for price but considering the quality of care, it is probably warranted. read more

I went to Skinpersations for five years. Many times I was forced to wait up to an hour for treatment. I showed up for my last appointment 13 minutes late (things happen) and was rudely and insensitively immediately told my appointment had been cancelled. I have paid them a TON of money over the years and I am dismayed that they feel their time is more valuable than mine. I have never been late. Allowances should be made. I am their client. Love this place. It is very professional, the office is nice, they are responsive, and my technician Gale is super sweet and thorough. I purchased three IPL sessions (they recommend three sessions one month apart if you've never had it done before and then yearly thereafter) to get rid of brown spots and redness on my face, neck and chest. I had the first session a couple weeks ago, after which you look and feel like you've got a sunburn for a day and the brown spots turn really dark and eventually flake off in a couple weeks. As I hoped, the first session got rid of most brown spots but some still need some work, as does the redness, so I'm glad I got the three sessions. What I wasn't expecting though was how great the texture of my skin looks and feels. Smooth, soft, elastic and glowing like it's at least ten years younger, and I've still got two more sessions to go. Can't wait to see the final results in a few months! read more

Although Dr. Elliot was thorough and friendly, some of the other staff we're not. And, I never received the photos promised to me and Which I asked for after both of my visits. Skinspirations has been my "go to" office for help for my skin for years. They won my heart many years ago when the most I could afford was a facial once, maybe twice a year (if I saved enough). They treated me like royalty from the very beginning. Other places I had tried at that time were very curt and dismissive of me since I was not a "regular" customer and I was usually buying the lowest priced treatment available. Every single staff member at Skinspirations has always made me feel valued as a patient consistently no matter how often I am there or what product/treatment I am buying. I now go in for facial treatments approximately 7-8 times a year and I will never go anywhere else. (check out the $99 monthly specials - they are my favorite and you can buy 6 for $500 to pick throughout the year). Melissa is awesome and is always cognizant of my skin type (fair and sensitive) and would never put my skin in jeopardy by recommending something too harsh (in fact she saves me from myself lol). And thank you to Susan and all the others that have to put up with me changing my appts all the time due to work travel emergencies.
