She did ask me throughout the facial if everything was okay and if I was comfortable. Emailing and setting up the appointment was easy. The actual microdermabrasion seemed thorough. She never tried to sell me any products! Cons: She didn't really talk to me beforehand about my skin care and routine, so it didn't seem like she really cared to know what my problem areas were. When I get a facial, I want it to be relaxing! She had radio pop music playing- she finally changed it to something a bit more relaxing after a while. The chair you lay in wasn't as spa like as other places I've been to. You lay down on one of those wax papers you see at a doctor's office. Not a big deal but I like to feel pampered. She never steamed my face (which allows your pores to open up), which I thought was really odd. The extraction seemed short... probably because she never steamed my face. Overall, it wasn't a bad facial for the price I got with Groupon. I've been to better but her work wasn't terrible- just average.

It really wasn't anything more than a long shampoo and more of a rub rather than a massage. I was also disappointed that I didn't get a full blow out blow dry. They dried it just enough so that I didn't leave with a wet head, but not fully dry and my hair is really frizzy so it was just a bit frizzy ball by the time I got home. If I had a full out blow dry either a roll brush I'd probably go once a month! But for $105 plus tip it wasn't really worth it.
