I'm speaking to all of us of Asian descent. The miracle known as Lash Perming, or Lash Lifting, is a chemical treatment process that keeps eyelashes held in a curled position for up to 8 weeks. That's right - CURLED! I.E. actually visible. I found Keta V on Groupon. She was accommodating and easy to work with - I had to re-schedule twice due to work issues. When I did finally make it, she sent me the prep info the day before and greeted me at my car when I arrived to make sure I parked in the correct lot and find the studio. Her place is clean and I felt immediately at ease. As for Keta herself - she's like the friend you knew years ago, but need to catch up with, so patient and well-spoken. The Eyelash Lift is a relatively less well-known process, compared to lash extensions. The idea of coating my eyelashes with chemicals was terrifying. Keta explained the process once before we started and then again during each step. While the procedure wasn't the most pleasant (there's someone pulling on your eyelashes for a good 30 minutes), it was tolerable. Think of the alternative: a 90-minute session of for lash extensions. But the results are much more natural looking - I mean, they are, after all, your own lashes. I've had multiple people compliment me on the results. Also, the perm should last up to 8 weeks, which is about 3x as long as the extensions. I am thoroughly satisfied with the experience and will definitely be going back. Even though I used a Groupon, Keta was respectful and did not try to push any additional products or sessions. Thank you Keta!

First a foremost, I feel bad writing this review since she was very sweet. But I just can't "get used" to these lashes. I asked for a natural lash and I got the opposite. The length of them are so long that they hit my eyebrows and are very irritating. They clump up on the ends and I'm constantly having to brush them out to lay right. I also feel like they're a little sparse and have empty spaces where there shouldn't be. If you like full glam lashes this place is for you! Unfortunately, this is not what I wanted. I did mention they were a little long for me, she said it will take some time to get used to them and when I come back she can remove a few long ones. I gave it a day to try an adjust- but when my husband requested I get them removed I knew it wasn't a good look. When I contacted her about getting them removed via a text she graciously and promptly picked up the phone and reached out to me directly; she offered to not just remove them but completely re-do them at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That blew my mind - time is money! She was not just willing to remove them at no cost but also completely re apply them, just to make me happy (despite her providing what I asked for) the process is very time consuming. I am very pleased with HER recommendation and outcome of my new lashes !!!!! More flattering and get a lot of compliments!
