I've gone here about a dozen times for laser but due to management changes, I will no longer be a…read morereturning customer. Nia, my technician, is always amazing and if she leaves, I will follow her for laser. However, please be aware of the hidden fees newly enforced and not communicated to clients. I've always booked in packages, so I'll get multiple treatments at a discounted price. If you are late to your appointment, they will automatically charge you 50% of the service, regardless of the amount you paid. So I was there for a full body laser, and there price for a single treatment is $350. The late fee is $175! That is INSANE and borderline criminal! Also, they never tell you that that's the case. When I asked, I was told it was due to new management, because I've been going there for year and that was never enforced. I'll go elsewhere.

Sadly I am going to have to remove a star from my last review of this place. I finished my 6 bundle…read morepackage of laser, but didn't quite get the results I wanted after waiting a few months to see how my hair regrowth was like, so I called in to make another appointment for a single session. I recalled that they have a 10% discount for returning customers on single sessions if you previously bought a package, and I also confirmed this with the lady on the phone with me. I went in on June 2nd for my 7th session at this location, and things went smoothly. Contrary to what the owner replied to me in my last review, all they had to offer was coffee, and in fact the front desk lady didn't even ask if I wanted anything, but did ask the next customer who came after me if she needed anything. The aesthetician is probably the only lady I really like at this place, she remembered me and it was always pleasant to be in the room with her. Oddly, when I went to check out and pay, they quoted me the full price for the session with no discount. I asked for clarification, the receptionist went to the back and she came out saying that for returning customers, the new policy was only getting a 10% discount on future bundles. I didn't know if I needed another 3 or 6 sessions, since those are the only bundles available, so I didn't want to commit to that. She had to go in the back and ask again, and they gave me an "exception" and allowed me to have the discount. I also asked them yet again to reach out to me in 6-8 weeks for a follow up in case I wanted to schedule another session, but they once again haven't, even though the owner claims that they did with my last review. I think I'm going to look for a new place with better customer service.

Off of their sincerity, I will surly give Hello Sugar another chance because customer service is important especially in today's society. Thank you again Fabiola for reaching out, and Melisa for your support. Superior leadership!

A few weeks ago I met this girl Rebecca who recently changed her name to Summer. She was a trainee at the time waxing my d!ck. She introduced herself to me with a handshake which is kinda unusual for an aesthetician. I've worked with over a hundred aestheticians. No one has ever welcomed me with a handshake. The way she introduced herself to me actually made a good impression on me. So I made future appointments with her because I wanted to know her. I started liking her personality, she also seemed to enjoy our conversation. So then came third and fourth appointment. She kept showing interest in what I do and what I was thinking about her, her appearance and her accent. She also asked me personal questions like how I got that scar on my lower stomach, and asked me about the language I speak. She even asked me about some certain words and how we say in Farsi. Then she asked me about what I did on the weekend. So I said we celebrated my brother's graduation and we had a family dinner. She then asked me where we went for dinner. I said my mom cooked. she asked me what she cooked. So I said it was one of our local food. She said she liked to try. I said I would take her out to try. The appointment ended and at the end I asked her if she really wanted to try the food. She said she was nervous. So I thought maybe another day. She didn't seem to be uncomfortable about anything I said. She said goodbye with a smile same as she used to do every time. Two days later, I found out the app didn't let me make appointments. I found it weird. I thought it was something with the system or my account that didn't let me book appointments, as it happened before. So I headed to salon to ask her what happened. She said she was going to make a call. I thought she was going to call the manager to see what happened. Wasn't expecting what happened next; someone was shouting like a crazy dog that I had to leave and that she complained I made her feel uncomfortable. I still don't know what she was feeling uncomfortable about, because I never said or did anything offensive to make her feel that way. She didn't show any signs of discomfort or anything until the last minute of our appointment. She didn't even ask me to leave or let me know that I did something that made her feel uncomfortable. I was shocked by what she turned out to be. I always thought she was kind, caring and smart. I was wrong. Very wrong. Don't blame sh!t after you step on it. So I don't blame her.
