First Night: A staff member was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly attempted to remove our group, along with other paying guests, from the lobby area. Another employee later clarified that we were permitted to remain there. Second Night: The fire alarms went off three separate times, causing major disruption and distress for families and children. During the confusion, members of our group were wrongly accused of triggering the alarm, though the fire department later confirmed the issue originated in the pool/hot tub area. Police were also called that evening regarding a noise complaint connected to guests sitting in the lobby. After speaking with those involved, no one was asked to leave. Later that night, after another fire alarm, the fire department reportedly placed the hotel on fire watch. Despite the seriousness of the situation, staff behavior at the front desk appeared unprofessional and lacked urgency while families were upset and children were crying, saying they no longer felt safe staying there. The overall experience reflected poor communication, lack of professionalism, and inadequate attention to guest comfort and safety. After reviewing other recent guest feedback over the past year, it also appears these concerns are part of a recurring pattern of similar issues rather than an isolated incident. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to families or team groups looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay.

The hotel is in walking distance to many places. They charged a $50 deposit on my card, on top of…read morethe cost of the room - it showed on my bank statement immediately. There was a mini lounge area set up at the window, which I found to be innovative. There was also a mirror that lines the wall, which I found interesting. The WiFi worked fine. There were about three no-smoking signs. The telephone allowed local phone calls. There were many outlets and they were all in convenient locations. The coat closet provided decent hangers, an iron, an ironing board, as well as a suitcase stand. The carpeting was overall clean, with the exception of one stained area. The walls were not very clean. There was a flat-screen television with the HBO channel, but the TV was fuzzy and I don't know if it was the TV or the cable signal. There was a channel guide available - it is a random pet peeve of mine when there ISN'T one & I am not even an avid, television watcher... Anyway, the bed seemed new and very clean, but the mattresses were covered with plastic - with the exception of a pillow-top mattress. The comforter wasn't the most comfortable comforter, but the mattress top was comfortable, with the exception of the sound of plastic whenever you move (I was laughing to myself about this at one point). The bathroom provided many towels, though they were very worn, and the top, "display" towel had hair all over it. The toilet and bathroom floor were not entirely cleaned. By the way that the toilet flushed, it seemed to be a single "blow up" away from getting clogged. The sink's countertop had various "chunks" missing, as if someone had taken a hammer to it or something...? The bathroom sink, faucet water projectile sprays forward towards you if you don't turn it on SUPER slow. There were very minimal hygienic amenities provided. The bathtub/shower was clean. There was a desk in the room, also providing a pen and a notepad. The desk chair didn't seem clean, though. There was a working coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge. I didn't sleep well because of a bright, red light that was flashing on the phone - even facing away from the phone, you can still see red flashing because of how much it lights up the room. They offered a complimentary breakfast, which I always love (as long as there is nothing unsanitary, cold breakfast is still always better than no breakfast). Check out time was too early - 11am. Check in time is late, as well, so you will pay for 24 hours, but you're really getting about fifteen hours of actual stay. I have no problem checking out at 11am (I would not have stayed there if I would be unwilling to do so, obviously), however, I had housekeeping beating on the door (twice) between 10-10:30am. I guess I just don't understand why she didn't just waited until 11am (I was gone by then/I checked out at about 10:45). I was in the process of packing/double checking that I wasn't forgetting anything from about 9:30-10:30am, and she was actually slowing me down by knocking like that. The deposit fee was reimbursed within an hour after checking out.

Only criticism onward nit in stock was a sauce pan that we bought at the store down the road. In take clerk was awesome. From desk atmosphere is loud and very casual, very helpful, very outgoing. I rated only 4 stars because other guests: smoked weed in stairwells, bothered my boyfriend while he was smoking outside and asked if he had any weed to sell her and the guy she was with. Obviously not medicinal marijuana. Anyone with a dog, mostly medium and large, did NOT pick up after their pet. Not safe to walk in grass with disease ridden feces laying in the open. When I threw away my dog's poop in the dog poop bin, it was used as a trash can and I only saw my used poop bags in there. Studio room set up was a sure downsize from our apartment but it had all we needed. Laundry room never busy and secured with room key card. They booked us close to an exit and first floor since I have my service dog ‍ with security cameras I was hoping for tighter security but they are law enforcement. If I rated just on the property and staff, I'd rate them 5 stars. The only suggestion is take the large grassy area and fence it in for a dog area so my dog can zoom around off leash. Oh and about the bed and possibility of bugs: I never sleep in sheets at hotels but on top of everything using my own bedding. All my clothes are in packing cubes in the dresser drawers. I check my hanging clothes before wearing. I saw no bugs and my service dog would be the first to get bit.
