The menu is a little small and pretty generic looking but we decided to go with a Strawberry shaved ice (Pink Paradise). Strawberry shaved ice, strawberries, strawberry syrup and boba-balls. Thinking it was going to be very ordinary run of the mill shaved ice, we were pleasantly surprised. They literally shave this ice from a giant block on this neat spinning device, and hand make it start to finish. Adding the toppings sparingly, and precise to make it look as good as it tastes. It was extremely satisfying and most definitely 'refreshing' as we hoped. Unfortunately this place gets 2 stars for the quality of the tea. I ordered the taro milk tea with bubbles and without any extra sweeteners, and it was too sweet and very grainy. The mouthfeel of the tea was very off putting, even though I liked the texture of the bubbles. The matcha milk green tea wasn't grainy, but it wasn't anything special, in my opinion. Their other desserts may be better, but I don't think I would get the bubble tea again.
