Around 3pm. Two little girls pushed past me and thought excuse me would be a proper greeting for pushing right past me, they opened the door to the shop so apparently they worked there. They were late as the place opened at 3pm and I was already being helped. Someone was already helping me and before I was even helped fully and able to properly put in my order I'm asked by who appears to be the owner of the shop: did you pay?" In a tone that wasn't appropriate. asked me if I wanted napkins and handed them to me rudely and barely gave me any. Did not ask if I wanted ice cream in a cone or cup or any toppings, felt rushed and uncomfortable and one of the little girls who pushed past me to open the front door to get in (asian girl with black hair and glasses asked me "Did you pay???") with a condescending and harsh tone seeing that i was already waiting and being helped. I am black and a local to the area and while this is already rude behavior to the average person I suspect this to be a racist encounter just because of how targeted it was and how they also tried pushing past me and asking if others wanted to be served and treating them nicer. Will not be ordering from here again. Very dissappointed. The ice cream and quality of food there isn't that good to be treated that way anyways. Dont go here. read more

After having a fine Italian dinner we needed some desert. My mom suggested I've cream so I yelped it. Found this place right on the main drag. Looks like they get busy. They're service was a little slow which didn't help with the line but it was that long of a wait. Mom got some soft serve peanut butter cup. I got the Cookie Monster which is blue dyed vanilla full of cookies. Both delicious! Beware a medium is HUGE! That's a medium in my hand. It's a nice spot with bang for your buck. read more

I have never seen this place without a line on a summer night in Lansdale, so after getting dinner out one night I decided to come see what it was all about! A small ice cream shop with the absolute friendliest employees made for a great experience! They have some awesome flavors, but I decided to go with a Kiddie size of the Cookie Monster, which has cookie dough, brownie bites, and blue food coloring in it! For $2, this is definitely a great deal! The ice cream was perfect on a hot summer night! It was creamy and loaded with tons of toppings that were mixed inside of the ice cream! Great price, great service, and great options. My daughter is allergic to dairy, so ice cream shops generally aren't on our to do list. But I loved how Main Freeze not only had water ice, but also vegan ice cream options. The service was wonderful as well, really acknowledging her allergy and making sure I was comfortable with what she was doing (ie using a new scoop, etc). Believe it or not, that's not always typical for us. I've been served sherbet instead of sorbet or even stores saying we have nothing for you if it's a serious allergy. I completely understand businesses taking on liability for persons with allergies, but it only takes a minute to talk to someone and make sure we're all on the same page, I don't expect new containers to be open or for the non-dairy to be processed separately.
