I went to Natick, Massachusetts store to make an online return and had a horrible experience. I…read moremade an online purchase and wanted to return at the store, which should be simple. The store associate of Philippine/Asian ethnicity asked for my receipt. I told her that my package didn't come with a receipt so I pulled out my email receipt on my phone and showed her. She said my package did come with a receipt and she basically accused me of lying. I let it go and showed her the barcode on my phone. She said "if you had the receipt, I wouldn't need to see your phone." Then she had trouble making the return because the tag on the coat didn't have a size code. She said "mango always makes things so difficult and asked if I can ship/return to warehouse." I said no because I physically made the trip to your store to make the return so I would like it to be processed. Then another sales associate of Caucasian decent came and assisted. I suggested to both of them to call their customer service to get that size code. They asked me to do it; I said absolutely not because it's not my responsibility. Your return policy clearly indicated that I can return online purchases at the store. So I told them it is their responsibility to obtain the info needed to process my return. She finally made the call and got the size code to process the return. I don't know why the sales associates are so incompetent that I needed to advise them to call customer service to get the size code. And instead of apologizing to me for making me wait; they told me call their customer service. Throughout the process, my tone was very polite yet the Asian associate was incredibly rude. I asked the other associate for her name and she wouldn't disclose her name. And to make matters even worse, my return didn't get processed! Thank goodness I kept the return receipt she gave me. I contacted customer service and emailed a picture of my receipt to get my return processed.

Wow! This was an amazing find for me out here in CA. I first saw one Red Rover jacket at a…read morewonderful crafts shop, but it was the wrong size and not my favorite colors. But I could not forget how special the jacket was, so I eventually Googled the company and found it in Massachusetts--with darn few local outlets for a California girl. So I called the company and spoke to the owner. Cindy was very happy to work with me, and she agreed to send me some sample jackets in different sizes and styles (I was happy to pay shipping) and also sample color swatches for color and design options focusing on my favorite colors. Package came, clothes were tried on, decisions were made. I called Cindy back, and she agreed to lengthen the sleeves, remove a button, and make the coat for me in the color and trim I wanted, AND get it here by September 26th, because I am leaving for a trip abroad (Italy! Lucky me!) and want to take the coat with me. I had the jacket (and wonderful, fabulous matching gloves) in hand by September 16th. It fits perfectly, it looks great, and I am delighted by the entire process. The jacket is not 'cheap' but boy is it great value! The fleece is very high quality, and the total price was not much more than something commercial like a Patagonia product. I am not knocking Patagonia, they are great, but when I compare it with a MADE IN AMERICA jacket that was altered to my specifications, and is exactly the style and colors I want, the finished product can't compare with anything off-the-rack.
