I tried visiting another dealer, but they were in the process of moving, so I found my way here as Junge was the only other dealer within a decent distance of Iowa City that did Saturday service. They did say they were busy, but I anticipated the possibility of waiting all day. However, they managed to shoe me in and complete the service so fast, I had to stay in their lobby another hour to finish the catch-up work I started! Since my car was a CPO bought at 26K miles and lots of things were already pretty new, the advisor said that a 30K mile service nowadays is pretty much an oil change and a bunch of inspections (that their dealer does for free anyway), and given that there were many newer components under the hood (I checked), this was perfect! In the end, all that was done is an oil change, as well as some preventative maintenance on the PTU for a little shy of $140... I was expecting to pay through the nose, but this is dirt cheap compared to $300-500 upon reaching what is typically a major milestone; not even my friend's Hyundai's 30K service was this cheap! Also, since I left my dash cam on by accident, they also give you a complimentary hand wash and towel dry, while most competitors will just send it through a machine wash. All in all, Junge does business with integrity; when most dealerships have a bad rap for bleeding you dry, I almost had to shove my card into their pockets since they didn't want to overcharge me!

With a dead battery we were thankful they were open on Memorial Day and we really appreciate their respect towards Veterans with a Military Discount when you proudly show your Military I.D. They started conversation as "You are not our customer" simply because I got their service through the insurance. I wish it were misunderstanding, but how they deal with my review tells a lot of things. ------------------------------------------ I hate to leave negative review because you guys did the job done. But I must tell you, one of your guys, Basim really does not seem to care about your customers. I called you guys for lock out service, and he showed up on site, then he did not walk out of his car for more than 20 minutes because he was on the phone with his friends or whatever. And my car was running, and I am pretty sure that he saw me as well because I was standing by my car which was really close to his. Then he slowly walked out of his car and did the job which takes about 30 seconds. I already waited like 45 minutes and had to wait 20 minutes longer after he arrived because he did not get out of his car. Very horrible customer service, I can tell.

On the website you can enter a price as an offer. I entered the price of $19,000. This was a little low but I was hoping we could negotiate. A coworker recommended this place to me. I visited the dealership and was late due to the construction (they didn't tell me!). I was given a salesperson who did not know anything about a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited! What's the horsepower? "Um, don't know, I'll have to ask" Is there hill descent control? Is there hill start assist? What is the engine? What are the tires? "Um, I'll have to get back with you about that". The guy was nice and there was no pressure. But really, he couldn't answer any of my questions. I told him about my price offer and that I had done research and thought it was pretty reasonable since the car is not new but used and there are better offers in in the area. He asked me if there were any other cars I was interested in. I said a Subaru Forester. He said he would go look and see if they had any on their other lots. He disappeared for some time and then returned with the manager. The manager told me there was no way I could get a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited anywhere around here for $19k. He said he looked at all of McGrath's lots and there was just no way. He showed me some computer paper which had a price of $25k which he said was the price they bought the car. Are you kidding me! What a bunch of malarkey! He said he would go down $500 but no more. Well, I thanked him for his time and walked out the store. I never did get the info on the Subaru or any of my Wrangler questions answered. It's probably for the best since I doubt the salesperson I was with knew anything about a Subaru either. They should have just told me they couldn't meet my price instead of wasting my time. The whole time I was waiting for the salesperson to find out about the Subaru, they were in the researching if there were any Jeep Unlimiteds for $19k? Really?! Why didn't they just come out and tell me straight up they couldn't meet my price but they could help me find another car? Instead they made me look like I was a liar! I guess it's okay for the salesperson to lie but if a customer is lying, then the management will spend 30 minutes doing research to find out if the customer is lying. Iowa is not a good place to buy a Jeep since they are overpriced here due to their popularity. Chicago is the best place to go to find a fair price. It's not as popular since most urbanites want a fuel efficient car. This experience left me really bad impressions of McGraths and Jeep. Only go here if you want a car that is overpriced and you are not willing (too lazy) to go to Chicago for a fair price.
