Beware! Nail Polish for pedicures doesn't dry! Han gives amazing pedicures and massages! But your nail polish twice now has not dried in over two hours. I was so careful this last pedicure even sitting outside and still it wasn't dry!!! read more

The salon is very clean, has relaxing music and nice massage chairs for pedicures. They also have a wide variety of colors for gel and normal polish, which they are always adding to. Good thing I held back on getting a pedicure as well as a manicure to judge how the service would be. The dip manicure is not even over the whole nail and is thinner at the bottom on every finger. It's difficult for a client to notice this during the application. The screens between the technician and customers are dirty and full of nail polish spots. The station was dirty, the towel stained and obviously reused several times prior. The tools were dusty from previous use. Brushes were also reused, had to be wiped by the tech over and over, soaked in a small (also reused) acetone container. So clearly they are not following the CA Procedures (https://govt.westlaw.com/calregs/Document/IDB0012B34C8111EC89E5000D3A7C4BC3?viewType=FullText&originationContext=documenttoc&transitionType=CategoryPageItem&contextData=(sc.Default)&bhcp=1) Unfortunately in addition to the premises being very worn and not cleaned, I was surprised to find that the amount I was told I should pay and the amount that showed up on the credit card differed. They tack on a "service charge" apparently. When I called about this, they said it "said so at the desk" - well I wasn't at the desk. The person handling the transaction had declined to accept a check because "the owner was not here" and did not tell me about the cc "charge". I called the business but the person who answered the phone could care less about any of it and was flippant. I live near by and will let others know what to expect. read more

I went to sky nails with my granddaughter (age 10) because I had a gift certificate and she wanted to get her nails painted while I had nails done. She got her nails painted and the very next day, the polish was all off. I was a little upset because she had her nails done at a different salon a month before and it lasted for about 3 weeks. Everyone is so nice and does such a great job! Lan does my dipped manicure and they last for weeks. My natural nails are stronger than ever due to Lan's skill and technique for a dipped manicure. I went in for a basic french manicure. It was rushed. Very short massage. No extras offered or provided. The application was messy. They did not put on a top coat. The polish started chipping within 24 hours. It was like they wanted me in and out. I would not recommend this salon. There are much better options in the area. read more

I live 4 minutes from sky nails and went here years ago with a friend and was happy I returned. My nail professional did a great job! I'm extremely easygoing with things but my pet peeve has always been allowing a client to leave with jagged edges and uneven nails and Sky Nails didn't let this happen. My nail tech "Ly" was very sweet and did exactly what I asked her, she had good skills for massage, and I left feeling very relaxed and happy. I have come here off and on for a few years. However the last few times I've been here the quality has gone down as the prices have sky rocketed. I came for a gel pedicure which was just ok. However I did ask for flowers which I did not receive but she had already finished. So when it came time to pay on top of gel price increase, pedicure increase, there is also a 2.5% fee to use my debit/atm. Given that I didn't get the flower I tipped 15% and the lady was rude about it. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed 1/4 of my big toe isn't even painted. So for $63 my nail looks grown out already. She deserved a $0 tip after I looked at the lack of quality of work. It's frustrating that people now expect a tip for mediocre service. Whenever I go to other salons I always ended up ultimately coming back to Sky Nails. The atmosphere is bright, open, airy. Most of the technicians are friendly, they have a great selection of opi polish, and most importantly, they open a brand new pack of sterilized tools for each pedicure!!!!!!!!!! I have been to at least 5 other salons in Rocklin/Roseville and no one else opens up a brand new pack. Cant put a price on sanitization, and speaking of prices, the regular pedi is only $24. read more

I have sworn by this place for pedicures because I usually have good experiences but last weekend I brought 2 friends in with me and the service we got was really bad. They were really busy and even though we had appointments they rushed through our pedicures. My big toe had an ingrown nail and I asked her to cut it for me and she didn't go above and beyond to do so like they normally do. There was a couple mosquitos flying around the shop and I woke up the next day with multiple bites on my hands/ legs. My friends toes were cut extremely crooked and I felt embarrassed for referring her to this place. Overall disappointed with my service and won't be coming back :( read more
