Brandon and Carlos were so easy to work with, from the initial inquiry all the way through the event. During the booking process, they asked about the theme of our party and went out of their way to find the perfect backdrop for us - a black and white chevron pattern that matched our invitations. They arrived with tons of props for the photos and after a quick set up, they were ready to rock. We were able to fit large groups into the photos (I think we had up to 8 people in photo at once). Everyone at the party got involved, and the best part was that each person gets a print out of their photos within minutes! If you lose your printout, no problem! They also give you a link to a website where all photos can be viewed! Everyone loved having the studio booth - even my 92 year old grandma got in on the action! We attended an Anniversary and there were about 100 people or so and you can fit a good amount of tables depends how you set up. Love that as you enter they have a designated area for a DJ if you plan to have music which is great! The space has these cool wooden walls that add to the decor and the fun lighting that they provide for you. There is a little side room that is like storage and an extra bathroom there as well. The bathroom was very clean and spacious as well. There is a designated area with back entrance for placing food if you have catering and there is a spacious fridge for food and drinks as well. There is a fun opening area for a coffee space thats a nice touch. Def has a lot of potential to make it your own space and decorate how you wish. Approximately 10 years ago, I recommended my Mom to come through here to get her passport pictures…read moretaken. I remember her talking so fondly about the owner, Gary, and how interactive he was with her and her husband. And yes, her passport pictures came out great. Since her passport is due for a renewal, it was time for a comeback. We met Omar who is now running the joint. He was very apologetic about the "mess" (which wasn't THAT much of a mess) as he is still trying to reorganize now that he's in charge. He reported that Gary passed away a few weeks ago (I was bummed because I would have liked to have met him!) Omar spoke affectionately about Gary and what a wonderful mentor he was. After a bit of chitty-chatty, pictures were taken. I got the chance to look around and saw Gary's achievements - from meeting Maxine Waters to doing Tom Bradley's portrait. He seemed like a cool cat. Omar wasn't satisfied with the first printout of the pictures (afraid the passport agency may not accept it) so he fixed it a little bit and voila! We were outta there in no time. TIP: call to make an appointment. Just in case. They're not restricted to passport photos. They provide a wide array for services: family portraits, graduation pictures, etc... Highly recommending.
