So I spoke too soon, I shouldn't have provided a good review to begin with. I'll explain I discovered that the manager Josh created a hostile situation between a neighbor and myself when he should have kept himself neutral and professional. Josh is not to be trusted and definitely not a business professional. Also I have felt harassed by Josh the manager and his staff. They have been calling and texting me repeatedly during my long work hours. I returned their so called urgent calls just so Josh can tell me he will have someone call me back the next day to schedule an inspection but now it's almost been 2 week's without a call back from his office. Yet it seemed pretty urgent that they had to repeatedly harass me. Josh expects me to take 2 unpaid days off from work to meet with them for 2 separate inspections at my home that can last the whole day. Which is very inconvenient. Now about 2 months later after initial install of 2 brand new units, when trying to turn on my heaters for the first time in November I discover that neither of my heaters work. My smart thermostats only offer me a "cool" and "off" option. No heating option. Shouldn't the techs have checked everything to make sure it was all working properly before they decided the job was completed? Lastly one of the outside tower units sits further from the side of the house and in a slightly crooked position compared to the other. Every time I walk by the units on the side of the house I'm reminded that they don't appear equal and is bothersome to me. And I also noticed that they left my (white in color) smart thermostats dirty with black fingerprints. They apparently don't clean up after themselves. They also damaged the ceiling access entry to the attic. They did attempt to repair it but it's obvious that they are not professional dry wall or paint repair men. It's a bad attempt at repairing the damage they created. The positives are that one of my old units that controlled the downstairs climate that didn't work at all now works in cooling the downstairs but now neither of my upstairs or downstairs units provide any heating. I'm wondering how long my family and I will have to endure the freezing cold in this upcoming winter. They don't seem to have their act together. Still waiting on their call back. Not only for the inspection but for them to correct the problem with my heating. I do NOT recommend them at all. Avoid them at all cost and find yourself real professionals in heating and cooling that aren't fake just to get the sale. They really fooled me. read more

Five years later Sky Twirled has done a full 180. I called them to diagnose why my furnace wasn't functioning and they tell me that I need to replace the gas valve and the thermostat, and the valve needs to be ordered. The bill includes $200 down payment for the ordered part. I noticed that they were charging me sales tax on service (which is not taxed), so after I paid the technician for the visit I called the office to tell them that they needed to credit the $32 sales tax paid on the follow-up bill when the valve is installed. A heat-less week later the tech shows up to install the new gas valve. He spends about 10 minutes up in the attic and then comes down to check the thermostat, and back and forth several more times. He changes some wiring at the thermostat in the process. He then tells me that "it's all fixed sir." He presents me with the balance due for replacing the valve, and surprise! SALES TAX again! I refused to pay him on the spot and called the company again to inform them that LABOR IS NOT TAXED (which I thoroughly investigated to be absolutely certain that is true). I was told that the bill would be revised and the AC tune-up would be scheduled. Never got either, but I did get ghosted. Two weeks later the AC system started running and I immediately noticed that it was blowing hot air. Since Sky Drool hadn't contacted me I decided to call someone else. Boy am I glad that I did! I found out that 1) both the heat and AC were running at the same time 2) a wire between the thermostat and furnace was shorting out (which was the original reason why the heater was not working) and 3) THE GAS VALVE WAS NOT REPLACED even though I was being billed for it!!! I called these (blanks) to tell them that they need to reverse the payment before I contact the Newman PD with an Elder Abuse complaint. They refunded me in full. The photos below show the original gas valve taken by the Sky Twirled tech and the other one 2 weeks after it was supposedly replaced! My advice is to save yourself a major PITA and call anyone else because this company is as dishonest as they get! read more

I give these folks 4 stars because a few things about them didn't seem upfront and open. If you're going to accept credit cards then be upfront about the he processing you're passing along to the customer. You should be directly accessible to your customers...not make them go through a 3rd party dispatch center. I had trouble with my air conditioning last year (2017) is was a Sunday afternoon, and over 100° outside. We were melting in the house. I looked up AC companies on YELP and found Sky Whirl! They sent someone out to the rescue that Sunday night. My air-conditioner was about 10 years old and I never had the fluids serviced. He did a tuneup on our air conditioner and the frigid air started blowing within an hour. YAY! August 2018 my air-conditioner started to seem sluggish again. I wouldn't say our first experience with this company went entirely without a hitch--but mistakes are bound to happen, and the way they are handled is the most important thing. Here's what happened: I had an appointment scheduled to have our broken AC looked at. The first technician who came out was intimidated by our remote address and rustic ranch-road and turned back without ever reaching the house. When Joel the manager heard what happened, he was very apologetic and immediately rescheduled a different technician for the following day. The second technician, Camilo--undaunted by our location and driving conditions--arrived on time, was very polite and professional, and did an excellent job of repairing the AC. We will call Sky Whirl and request Camilo for all our future HVAC service needs, and will certainly use them when we're ready for the installation of a new system. read more

These guys get 1 star only because Yelp doesn't have an option for negative stars. 15 minutes before our appointment time I get a call saying they don't want to travel 20 miles! It didn't seem to matter that we had used them in the past at the very same location! When we had used them, the service was adequate, nothing outstanding, but the job got done. My issue isn't as much that they no longer wish to drive 1/2 hour for a service call, but the fact that they booked the appointment the previous day and then flaked 15 minutes before they were supposed to be here. I had to take a day off work to meet their time requirements of a 2-4 hour window. Not only do I still need to get an AC unit repaired, I lost a days wages. Thanks Sky Whirl for nothing. WOW! These guys are a real piece of work! Imediately after posting my negative review I got a call from Josh trying to get me to change my review. He wanted to reimburse me for a days wages to change the review! He doesn't have the courtesy to reply yesterday to say they don't want to come, but less than 5 minutes after posting he's calling! Here's a simple suggestion, next time you commit to an appointment with a repeat customer, that you keep your word and explain that you don't or won't be able to service our area again. Simple courtesy would have cured the entire issue. I guess customer service and courtesy isn't something your familiar with. read more

Which in my experience is very unusual. The tech showed up before the scheduled time. He's called first to see if arriving early was ok. Sky Whirl replaced the condenser on our air conditioner. After several weeks the circuit breaker kept blowing. They investigated the issue and determined it was because the electric line to the unit was aluminum wiring. The wiring was to code and had no defects. I am an electrician and have made a lot of installations working with aluminum wiring. Sky Whirl insisted that their unit was fine it was the electrical. I had Economy Air Conditioning come out. They determined that the condenser was causing the problem. I had them install a new condenser and four years later it is still working great. No blown breakers. Sky Whirl cheated me not because they are dishonest just ignorant. read more
