The Alaska 737 and the mockup of a tower cab were both particularly interesting. There's a small kid's area that would probably keep younger kids entertained for 30 minutes or so. The admission price of $18 is a bit steep for what you get; I would prefer more like $14-$15 based on the size of the museum.

STAR! Star is…read moresomewhat of an Anchorage mascot (the one that's not a moose). He/she (they all have horns, how do you TELL?!) lies quietly in the hay, unnoticed by many. Star has his/her own Facebook page. If you go take a look at Star, Star will pretend to not care about you. However, if you wait 5-10 minutes and talk sweetly, Star will get up and walk over to the chain-link fence to say hello. Supposedly Star is "walked" in the neighborhood, but I've never observed this yet. If you're at the Park Strip, you may as well come see Star.

Plenty of pull outs, benches, and look out points along the way. There was one point of the trail that had some bumps that appear to be in the process of being repaved, but otherwise no complaints. The only downside, biking up to Kincaid park was a challenge and the views at the top aren't worth it, there is also nothing waiting up top. Would be cool to see a coffee shop or something of the sort.

The rest of the lot was amusement park rides. There was a booth to dress up and take photos with Alaskan huskies, ulu knives, handmade candles, fur, photography, jewelry, and my favorite: Christmas ornaments made of Alaskan clay.
