He is grateful for her and told me If I ever need a psychotherapist who does NOT sugar coat things, and help me with any issues I should go to her. Dr. Striar helped me control my temper. something I thought nobody could ever help me with because I am already too old to change. I am a mother of 2 boys with a part time job and a part time graduate student. Often times my temper would turn into some harsh yelling towards my kids. I've yelled so much that my boys did not want me around much. Not only did she help me control my temper, but she helped me understand where it was coming from, what made me lash out at my boys so much. I've seen her on weekly basis (last year) for a few months and she really instilled some sound advice and guidance in me on how to control my temper. After about 3 months both of my boys (age 9 and 17.5) told me this "mom, we have noticed you don't yell at us anymore, we don't know why but we love you this way". That made me burst into tears and I wasn't even aware I had stopped the yelling and lashing out. So, yes Dr Striar gets credit for this positive change in my behavior. I continue to see her (this time for another issue). She is funny, witty, compassionate, I highly recommend her. Upon check in, I was informed that there were 5 people in front of me, all scheduled within a 10 minute window from each other. Ridiculous! I have asked for an update and there is still 1 person in front of me, also waiting to be seen. I have other commitments and engagements I have to attend to today. This is a terrible waste of my time!! A routine dental cleaning should not have taken up my entire morning, and yet it has. I have had this experience one too many times here and I am the foolish one that continues to come back because I am hopeful that you will get it together one day. Frankly, this location is convenient for me because it is walking distance from my house. Even so, I dread coming here because my experience is always the same. If you cannot keep your appointments, don't give them, simple. Stop wasting your patients' time, energy and patience. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I've complained more times than I can count and I've left you a terrible review on Google. Nothing has changed. Get it together.

I see their approach however I don't feel I should be punished
