I've been jumping at SWC for 8 years and couldn't be more proud of my dropzone. This is a family owned and operated business for over 50 years, and the heart and soul in it is very evident. Currently, there are three generations working and hanging out at the DZ - so much history...if only the walls could talk! This is a professional operation, yet still provides a personal experience, unlike many of the "tandem factories" I've visited over the years. You get to know the staff and the fun jumpers, which makes for a really cool, personal experience. Communicate to them what you're feeling, what you're looking for, and the staff here will do their best to make it happen! The relationships I've built here will last a lifetime - this is literally my second family. I trust them with my lives and know that every time I jump at SWC, they've got my safety and best interests at heart. I have brought MANY friends and family here to jump (they've made tandems, static line jumps, and Accelerated Freefall (AFF)). Obviously, I trust them not only with my own life, but those of my loved ones. Was such a great experience, took longer (5 hours from arrival to leave with 6 people) but it was such an enjoyable place to sit and wait. The skydive itself was absolutely amazing and not nearly as terrifying as I thought. read more

Super friendly staff and the price was worth it! I bought my ticket off Groupon so I got a great deal. Pros: My instructor, Scott, was great, very funny, and very accommodating. I told him that I'm a thrill seeker and he gave me the experience I was looking for. You also have the option to buy a video/picture of your fall/experience. You can take pics in the hangar with your suit on and with your friends. Cons: Price for pictures/videos were quite pricey with the cheapest option starting at $75 for picture/video. I haven't been to any other skydiving places so that price might be an average price. Also, it was really hot but that's out of the Skydive Warren County's control since it was summer. read more

Ready to skydive? Check Warren County out (I promise, I'm not being paid to say this)! I was super impressed by what all Skydive Warren County held. But the staff just topped it. They were all so friendly and knowledgable, and it seemed that they loved what they were doing! This was my first time skydiving (along with my sister, dad and grandma) and we all had a blast. Prices really aren't too bad, about 180 per person. I do recommend going as a group, because it costs less then! P.S. Scott is great! read more

My son jumps here every weekend and loves it. We were their on Sun and watched all the tandem jumpers go. Looks like a very safe and tip top operation. He was not able to jump due to weather. Just shows how safe they are. BTW its off the main road a bit, you have to use the GPS read more

I booked my jump for 4 people for a weekend when everyone would be in town. This was the only date that would work. A week before The scheduled jump, we got a cancellation text and email. No reason why it was canceled, just that it was canceled and we could call back to reschedule. Unfortunately my group couldn't reschedule this is the only time that would work for everybody. We just wanted our deposit back which was a little over $100. When I called back I left a voicemail and received no call back. I had to call again and they finally answered and told me that I would not be able to receive a refund because it was in the disclaimer that I agreed to, but that I could reschedule or transfer my credits to somebody else. I asked why the trip was canceled and they told me that they did not know. I understand that somethings come up and things change, but at least give me back my deposit. I don't want to reschedule with a company that cancels so easily and doesn't do anything to help you. I have no trust in this company and want to warn anybody who is interested in skydiving with skydive Cincinnati to be extremely flexible and completely prepared to lose a lot of money at no fault of your own. read more

We made the drive only to have cloudy weather. No real "game plan", organization or communication. At times, we could see staff/help/volunteers chatting about the weather. We would over hear reports from pilots to staff (?) but NO COMMUNICATION to the customers. It's very difficult to tell who's who at this establishment. Appeared to be a jump club atmosphere and not necessarily geared towards paying customers. We hung out all day waiting for the weather to clear. Not at ALL their fault. I do find fault with their lack of communication. We returned 2 weeks later to the same hanger (along with another group of jumpers) only to find out by some passerby that they have moved to a NEW hanger location. Again, no mention on the booking phone call or note on the old hanger to let anyone know. I'm sure it's difficult to get a video skydiving but certainly not worth the $90.00. It was extremely brief and basically a commercial. Trainers were indeed knowledgeable about jumping and safety but management and staff need a lesson themselves in communication with their customers. Would I jump again~YOU BET. Would I jump there? NO WAY! read more

I had an exceptionally bad experience with this company. If you don't have to deal with the owner, that might not be your case, but it's not worth the chance in my opinion. Reader's Digest version: my appointment wasn't communicated correctly, couldn't get hold of anyone at the company for hours, and after my jump was cancelled due to weather, it took months to simply get a voucher to try and jump again. Since then, I have not been able to get a call back from the owner to set up an appointment (and why should they? They redeemed my Groupon.) My story begins with a birthday present. I got a Groupon for a jump and scheduled it with the company they had outsourced for this task (I didn't know that at the time.) I show up at my scheduled time to a sign by the side of the road. No one there, no indication of where the field is. I call all the numbers I can find and get no answers (but many promises that I'll get calls back.) 2 hours later, I get hold of the actual office and am told how to arrive at the field. Go through my training and get ready to jump (the staff was great, by the way,) but right around when we got to 10,000' the clouds closed in and I wasn't able to jump. So we go back to the ground, and they ask if I want to try again since the clouds are clearing. I was (visibly) upset, due to the frustration of waiting hours to make this happen and getting worked up about jumping out of an airplane (I'm a pilot - I get out of an airplane after I land it,) and said I wasn't ready for it that day. The person at the desk told me they couldn't give me a voucher, but since I didn't feel comfortably trying again that day, left anyway. That they said I couldn't get a voucher was vehemently denied by the person who said that and the owner (because it's not their policy.) I was in the process of moving out of town for school, so wasn't able to immediately try again. The next steps involved me calling dozens of times to try and figure it out before my Groupon expired. I finally got to speak with the owner (Julie) and she agreed to give me a voucher good for a year from our conversation if I agreed that she could redeem my Groupon. That seemed OK to me, so I did it. She explained all the previous issues I had experienced by telling me about how difficult it is to run a business with a small child and asking if I could take her situation into consideration when making my judgements. I had no choice but to do that in my case. While I recognize there are challenges involved with running a business, I rarely feel that it's my place to take them on as a customer, yet was made to feel that way by this business. Cut to recently (this happened a couple years ago) and I have finished school and was hoping to get some mercy on my (admittedly, expired) voucher on a recent trip home. At the very least, it should have been worth the value paid to Groupon (as that's their policy, but, as stated above, I let them redeem the Groupon, and in so doing technically forfeited that value.) I called to make an appointment, and when I was finally able to reach someone, the person on the phone was pleasant (again, great staff) and promised a call back. That call hasn't come. I had hoped that they would understand my personal situation in the way I (was forced to) understand theirs, but that doesn't appear to be the case. If you are able to book an appointment and go jump without dealing with management, you could probably have a pleasant experience. But the chance of something going wrong makes that not worthwhile in my mind. read more
