This is an outstanding operation. From reserving our spot until touchdown the process is very thorough but very easy to navigate. Of course as a skydiver you sign many waivers and legal documents. But I'd expect nothing less. The office staff are friendly and efficient, the training is great, and the instructors are absolutely the best. My son and I had a great time and can't wait to do it again. If you're debating about going, just stop and DO IT! I'm surprised that they don't have an overall rating of 5 stars, but I guess you just can't please everyone. This was my third jump overall, but my first jump here at Skydive Lake Elsinore and my total experience went so well, I highly recommend for other skydive enthusiasts to come here, but I would definitely comeback again. My tandem instructor Merv is awesome. He was very friendly, super professional and has 15 years of experience. He makes you feel very safe and at ease. Our jump of course went very well and had a perfect stand up landing. From beginning to end the office staff were also super friendly and very knowledgeable in the packages they offer. Jumpers even get a T-shirt and a certificate of completion for their jump. A lot more than I've gotten at my previous jump sites i have been to. I lived! This was my first time skydiving, and they made it worth it. I received an email shortly after scheduling the jump online, which understandably had a ton of waivers to be signed. I arrived at the scheduled time for checking in, which included one more waiver, a weight check, and an Assumption of Risk Waiver video. The front desk staff were also open to any questions people may be brewing over. The tandem instructor, Tony, expressed confidence in his 16 years of diving. He made sure I was comfortable from the ground up and the dive down! The landing was also smoother than I had expected. I do not regret placing trust in this company to make it a fun and safe experience. A couple hours after the drop, I received the email of my skydiving media, which I purchased at the front desk. The following day, they called me to make sure I received the files :) I greatly appreciate everyone's helpfulness! read more

The whole experience was amazing! From the check in with our reservation to the end was great. At check in the woman that helped us out was friendly and responded great with my husbands humor. She made it super simple to check in and told me that being the first time to get the whole package of videos and photos. Sooo worth it because it made it so much better and wish we purchased my husband's jump too. Merv was such a great instructor and was super easy to talk to about it. He gave me all the obvious instructions and was relaxed where it made me so comfortable to jump with him. It was such a rush! During the jump Merv was great and just made the overall experience awesome! It's been a while since I jumped at skydive Elsinore but after going at a different skydiving center and speaking to instructors about my past experience here to try to schedule a new jump to make up for mine. It's all coming together. In May 2014, I went tandem skydiving and purchased a photo and video package. During the dive I could feel the instructor behind me panicking a bit and noticed that only half the chute had opened and it was spinning. Eventually he was able to unwind it and fully opened. He explained nothing was wrong and this was normal. We landed and I thought all was well. I was given a flash drive and told my pictures and video would be uploaded to my flash drive and to watch their YouTube account to see my video featured. I got home and opened to the flash drive to find only pictures and no video that I paid for. Then they never uploaded anything to YouTube. When I emailed them they ignored my emails. Now What I'm assuming happened is they didn't attach my video because the chute not opening was not a normal occurrence and the company was protecting itself from it... but if that was the case they could've just refunded me for the video service. read more

Highly recommend booking early. We booked for 7:30am, and were done by 9:30am. Great place for a first jump. My tandem partner was Seth. He was calm, reassuring and explained everything to me. He shared he's been jumping for 11 years and that made me feel comfortable. The rest of the staff was great, definitely people I'd be friends with. We purchased the deluxe photo package, and had an extra jumper join us. The photographer/videographer, Sara, filmed the entire experience from pre-jump, mid-air, and landing. As we were falling, we grabbed hands and spun around. The best feeling ever! Video came out great, photos were good too. We got a t-shirt and certificate after completing the jump. A secret shop that caters to an unusual kind of clientele, I'm talking people who actually like to jump out of planes ... Who knew? The secret is out. They say joy comes in the morning, so I guess I must wake up at 5am plus check in time was 7am. Parking lot has signs that read no parking or be towed, but if you're jumping you can park. The process was simple and everything is dependent on the weather. Waiver is signed online, taped statement, and everyone must watch a video before every jump. Sarah and I, we suited up and she set the tone with this glowing introduction. One by one we all boarded the small plane roughly 2-3 miles upwards, which also provided great views on the way up. It was there I began to question everything--What am I doing here? How was the sky exceptionally blue today? Why didn't Rose, in Titanic, make enough room on that door for Jack when there was clearly enough room for both of them? Why do we become what we think about? Who shows the moon where to hide until evening? Then I remembered it's empowering, meditative, and one of the few places I can fly. I'm constantly reminding myself of what it's like to live and not to just be alive. If you sit in the question the answer will find you. I say this all to say I'm not your average jumper; I like crocheting and drinking cute mocktails. I'm just living in the moment and seizing the day! It was now game time. The door was opening and people were jumping out. It was my turn and this time I had to squat down before jumping--totally not thinking about the 120mph free fall. It feels like flying rather than falling; your senses come alive and my body was just bombarded with sensations. You can just feel the heartbeat of the city and I felt like I was breathing in 4K. I've even read that the internal chemistry stimulated by free fall helps sleep and aid digestion that also pique my interest. Once the parachute was pulled I couldn't help but think how intoxicatingly beautiful my view was in that moment--Wow! Nevertheless, today, as in the day, felt like we were a team--good weather, good people, and good fun. Future you will high five you later!! For the record, there are many other ways to feel alive. This was an incredible experience. I'm a first timer so I jumped tandem and paid $50 extra for the additional video option. I would absolutely recommend paying the extra, because they make a whole video and whole experience about it. It's not just like about you falling, it's about what brought you there, how you felt before, how you felt during, and how you felt after. I went with Tyler, and he was great at reassuring me that he had everything under control. He kept my nerves in check, I was his like 9th jump for that day, so these guys know what they're doing, They provide good instruction and answer any of your questions. We were lucky / unlucky. The poor weather pushed our time from a 1-2pm jump, to like a 6-7pm jump. I wasn't too upset, but I was not expecting such a huge delay. We also had to push the staff about it repeatedly because groups that had showed up after us got to jump before us.... That's about the only issue. Although, the 6-7 pm jump was an extremely beautiful jump, with the sunsetting over the lake. Breathtaking. I recommend planning an entire day for this activity, and I recommend this place wholeheartedly. read more
