I was extremely nervous going to a salon as a male expecting to feel unwelcome amongst the females. To my surprise I was greeted with open arms and warm smiles. I was also surprised at the male presence at a salon and spa. The waiting area is tight due to limited space amongst the hair products but when Jennifer M approached me, on time, she greeted me with a welcoming smile. She never put a headband on my head and instead of removing the exfoliating material off my face she rubbed it into my hair. This I only noticed after the facial was over. No proper facial massage.
