Atmosphere: Very spa-ish. It's a small place but they're working with what they've got. The upstairs is the salon portion with three pedi chairs two mani stations and one hair chair. The downstairs is the spa and they take the idea of calm very seriously. It was very comfortable and dim. They give you robes and very awkward sandals that cut your feet, but I appreciate the thought. Massage: It was honestly one of the best massages I've had in a long time. I could hear some noise through the walls that disturbed my serenity, but that wasn't the masseuses fault. Pedicure: I'm used to a little more time on the front end of the pedi - you know scrubs and rubs and soaks and things, but it wasn't bad. I was super doubtful of the polish job, but I stand corrected two weeks later and not a chip from the regular polish. They offer to let you keep your scrubber as is status quo these days. Changing Area: Big fan. The locker area is smallish, but it's just what it needs to be. It could do with a table or stool or something to set things on temporarily. Then there's a small seating area, shower area, toilets, and THE STEAM ROOM. The showers were great - I could have stayed in that multi-headed shower of goodness for a long long time. The steam room was great. I have absolutely no experience from whence to draw conclusions from but it was steamy and dark and made me feel as though all the toxins I had worked up the night before were leaving my body. Staff: All super friendly. What I did find odd was that the staff all seemed to do many jobs - a masseuse and a nail tech also both did hair. It's certainly possibly they have well-rounded certifications, but it was strange to me. The downstairs greeter woman did a good job showing everyone where to find lotion, mouthwash, and razors, among other things. What was lacking was more direction on where to be and how to do things. Overall....I enjoyed it very much. There were small details that I would notice were off from a high end professional spa, but they didn't deter me. Had a bad experience there. A terrible facial. I could have done a better job myself at home. Despite the fact I wrote on the release that I had rosacea, the manicurist (she was no way an aesthetician, started rubbing my face with a sand like grit exfoliating scrub. She never put a headband on my head and instead of removing the exfoliating material off my face she rubbed it into my hair. This I only noticed after the facial was over. No proper facial massage. She just kept applying different creams to my face and wiping at them. Waste of money. read more

What a gem in the middle of Lake Lawn Lodge Resort! During a winter stay a friend and I had pedicures. Everything clean and lovely with scented pack of scrubs and lotions. You choose your pack of smart pods and enjoy the perfect pedicure. Cindi has provided winter service and again this July for a summer wedding at the Resort!! Also Cindi provided a wash and blowout. I received so many complements on my hair at the wedding and I was simply a guest. Prices are very reasonable. If you are staying at the lodge there are coupons for a discount. Andrea is amazing. My mani/pedi looks beautiful. She paid attention to detail and helped me pick out the perfect nude for my skin tone. I would drive the two hours for this mani/pedi every two weeks if I could. We asked for them to paint my 3 year old niece's nails and they couldn't have been nicer to her. It was a lot of fun. I wish I caught everyone's names because they were all so sweet and helpful. I got a massage and it was great, too! The spa itself only has a steam room, but it's very clean and relaxing. This place is amazing. The staff is super great the massage was out of this world felt so relaxed and all my stress went away. My wife went back a second day to do a pedicure and a manicure they offered me to use the steam room downstairs for free while waiting for my wife. By the way the steam room is out of this world the cleanliness of the spa itself was superior well worth the extra money to enjoy a little personal enjoyment while you're on vacation or anytime. read more

Took my daughters to Lake Lawn Resort last weekend for a "girls weekend". This spa is relaxing, comfortable and very well maintained. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and good at what they do. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here. The only negative about this spa is the pool and whirlpool are not a part of the spa. You have to leave the spa and go next door to the resort pool and whirlpool. This is totally not a spa experience, so we skipped that. I think that the spa would be better off not even listing that as part of their spa experience. It doesn't need it. Went here for a wedding and booked this for the a spa day prior to the events kicking off. Paid $120 a mani-pedi and was left disappointed in the quality of the work. My gel manicure looked puffy and the color was uneven. I pointed this out to my stylist and she assured me that it was "fine". My manicure started peeling within 48 hours and even had to repaint my own pedicure almost immediately after so it would look good for the wedding events. Stylist also didn't trim my cuticles or cut my toenails - should've just done it at home. read more

I had called just a week ahead of Christmas and wanted to get the three ladies in for a secret workday retreat of massages and pampering. Everyone associated with the spa was super friendly and professional. The Calladora team even went so far as to help keep the secret by confirming a meeting on our business calendar. My two daughters took me there for a birthday surprise. We all were having a good time until they thought we left. I had stayed longer for a manicure, and while waiting for my nails to dry I overheard the girls who had just given us our facials/massages start talking about us and making fun of our last name. This was very rude and unprofessional. As I told the woman at the front desk, what bothered me most was that they pretended to be friendly and nice to our faces, but not so much when they thought they were alone. Calladora Spa is located inside the Lake Lawn Resort, which itself is on a beautifully landscaped golf course and overlooks the picturesque Delavan Lake. I did not stay at the resort, but have in the past. But for this I'm just going to review the spa. The staff at the resort are very attentive and friendly. The space is beautifully maintained and calming. Calladora has a separate area to change into the robe they provide, which is nice, rather than having to do that in the room your massage is in. The massage therapist I had was amazing! I left feeling very relaxed and not sore. If I ever head to that area again, I'll be back. read more

This was my first time at Calladora at Lake Lawn. The spa is gorgeous. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and quiet. Both locker rooms have beautiful steam rooms to relax in either before or after services. The massage was great and therapist was professional and very good. I stayed at Lake Lawn for the weekend with my boyfriend, and the resort was out of this world and my new favorite place. We booked a couples massage to relax and unwind. I get massages pretty regularly, and was very excited for this one. Although, the experience wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be, especially for the price. The massage, and both my boyfriend i and felt the same; they were more like back rubs. They started off very light, and we both did ask for them to be harder, but still, it wasn't as good as any massage that I've had. Also, as a couples massage, we had booked it, and with that came a glass of champagne for both, but we were never offered it before or after our massage, so afterwards, knowing this was part of the package, we had to ask for it for ourselves. It was awkward to ask, but they did bring it to us right away. Overall, the spas a great place, very nice, clean and friendly, but for the money, we did not receive the relaxing treatment we were hoping for. read more
