For Janesville, this salon is very nice. Nail color: lots of options, lots of brands Services: everything from acrylic to shellac to natural manis and pedis Prices: very reasonable I came in here for a repolish and shellac removal. All together, it cost me $20. A repolish is just a pedi or mani with out the fancy stuff. For $12, they cut, shape, buff, and paint your nails. Ao unless I'm super stressed or need a massage, I'll always opt for the repolish. For $8, they removed the shellac, cut, and shaped my nails. The staff are nice, work hard, and they work fast. This will probably be my go to nail salon in Janesville. read more

Fastest pedi ever. 15-20 min max. I need to file down my own feet even after! Didnt even get to relax, which is part of the reason I love to have them done. Horrible! Waste of money. I've gone to Nail Perfection for 10+ years for pedicures and have also been doing dip nails with them over the past year. They do a great job, very rarely am I not 100% satisfied (hey, everyone has a bad day occasionally). My daughter also loves them. They've done some pretty cool designs on her nails! In reading one of the other reviews that noted the price was $1 higher than originally quoted, my guess is you paid by credit card. It is posted there is a $1 charge if paying by credit card (credit card companies charge them for the transaction), and tips must be paid in cash. :) read more

Went two weeks ago to get a manicure with gel polish and it was just an okay manicure. Seemed very rushed and the polish got all over my skin and was left there instead of cleaning it up. My gel polish started chipping after just one week. Went back yesterday to try again at another gel polish manicure hoping that maybe they were just having a bad day but this manicure was even worse! I asked for round nail shape and got square. Asked again if she could make them more round and she threw my hands out of the way to grab her file again. My polish also looks like a 6 year old painted my nails. Will not return. read more

I had the worst pedicure ever in the 25 yrs of having them here in Janesville and elsewhere. The male didn't even perform the bare minimum to insure a good result. His heart apparently isn't into this job. This is the 2nd time I've had men at this salon for pedicures and both times their work is sub par. I paid the full amount but didn't tip. I told the woman who books appointments he did a terrible job. She said to ask for a woman next time. I told her I won't be back. My nail salon was packed and I had to go to Janesville for an appt so I stopped here! I got right in! The lady that filled my nails was nice and very quick! They had the color I've been looking for, for like ever! I love my nails... turned out to be worth it! And I paid the same as I do at my usual salon!! The only thing I didn't like is that someone else put my color on but he did a nice job so it wasent too bad! read more

I am hoping to spare someone else the mistreatment and waste of money I witnessed today. I will NEVER go back to NAIL PERFECTION @ 3000 Milton Ave in Janesville . While I was getting a pedicure a girl came in unhappy with her nails that she had done that same day and the OWNER called her stupid and yelled at her and told her to go somewhere else to have her nails fixed. They were so nasty to her that they made her cry. I stood up for the girl and said that's not how you handle an unhappy customer. You don't treat people like that and I don't want to do business with you if this is how you treat your customers. The OWNER then got within inches of my face telling me f*** you and get out. They hardly let me put my shoes back on. The male then proceeded to follow me with a phone as I was leaving to record me. To which I told him, unlike you I'm an adult. I'm not going to do anything worth recording. The girls nails were definitely cracked and they wouldn't even fix them. I left a review and so did the other customer. They deleted both reviews from their Facebook page and blocked me. read more

1st visit: got dip and 4 fell off within 6 days. they would not fix. 2nd visit: got acrylics and Dan was so rough when filing that I nearly screamed. It was horrible. I then picked a color and he told me that I couldn't have that color because it doesn't look like the sample? Overall a horrible experience both times and I will never be coming back. Went to this place as my regular place was not available. I am very thankful the shape of my nails were done to my liking, as this is always a sore subject for me. The paint job was sub par and rushed, the nail polish was painted on very thick and it was very lumpy with uneven spots, looks like I painted it myself :-/ My nails look good from far away though, ha. I was told the price was going to be 35$, The gentleman that painted did my nails was already starting on another woman's nails before mine were finished, meanwhile he had another colleague ring me up. When I went to sign, the receipt said $36 instead of $35 like I was told. I'm not being petty for a dollar but I heard him tell his colleague $35... that was not cool! I tried to say something but the other colleague was already in the middle of helping someone else by the time I realized this... so I left. Might go somewhere else for a polish change. read more

Perfection...not so much. Nail Tech constantly left during the session to service other customers (i.e. eyebrow waxing, nail fill, etc.).

I stopped in here yesterday because my usual salon was closed. The place looks clean, and there was no waiting for my shellac removal and re-shellac. Huge selection of colors, and the guy who did my mani did a great job on the polish. He wasn't big on small talk, which was okay with me. In fact, none of the nail technicians were making conversation with their clients. I wish he'd spent more time shaping and filing my nails. They're slightly uneven, but probably not noticeably so to anyone else. I was slightly concerned that it wasn't obvious that the tools were properly sanitized, but nothing's festering or fallen off yet, so maybe it's okay. Finally, I thought it was a very good price -- $29. read more

I came here because my normal place was closed. They were friendly, clean, and they got me in fast. However they managed to put some of my nails on crooked and the cut my finger. Plus they were $10 more expensive then my normal salon. I should a just waited. read more

I went in the other day to have a manicure and pedicure. The gentleman started with my manicure and then the next thing someone else is doing my manicure. The young girl who did my manicure barely trimmed my cuticle back then put lotion on with the dust (nail debris) all over my hands the told me to go wash. The pedicure was so rushed that you couldn't even tell I had a pedicure done. My feet and hands are still dry and cracked. Thanks for nothing! read more
