The staff go above and beyond here! I made a shipping order and accidentally ordered the wrong card and even though it is my bad, they worked through a solution with me, didnt brush me off where other stores might. I no longer go to big box stores because there is no personal interaction like this. They are priced higher then other stores in the area but they also carry a lot! I look at it as paying a premium to support my local card shop that supports me. Good job Skyfox Games, customer for life. read more

I typically visit this store to pick up MTG singles that I've ordered online, and each time they fulfill my order in a timely fashion. Sometimes I find the online selection to not have everything I'm looking for, but by and large I'd say 85% of what I want, they have! Great service, if I have any question, there's always an associate able to answer it simply and succinctly. Price-wise, they're solid, their markups on any Magic product are understandable, and for such a reliable business, I don't mind sending them and extra 5-10%. I bought 5 patches from the site and they scammed me. 4 transactions showed up on my credit card, 2 were refunded, but the other 2 added up to being $26.39 over my purchase amount. They refused to acknowledge their mistake. Very terrible business practices. Be warned. Thanks read more

I used to think this was a great store with friendly staff. Then one of the managers told an autistic boy they didn't want him to come play in tournaments because his presence might upset other customers. A disgusting store that has no consideration or accommodations for customers with disabilities. Don't try coming here if you're in a wheelchair or have difficulty with steps. They have no access. Skyfox will no longer get my business. I used to put down several hundred dollars a month here. I've since found far better places in Oshawa and Whitby to spend my money. read more

Bought a few expensive, rare booster packs. Opened them up to find the cards in a strange order and I seemed to be missing the rare cards. Upon further examination I noticed the packs had been opened, good cards replaced with bad ones, and re-sealed. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Great store, good service. I find that Skyfox has a great environment for gameplay, the pokemon league and magic tournaments are fun and have a great turn out usually and the prices are fairly close to what you can find online. I know skyfox to go above and beyond from what I've seen for customers, I traded in a bin full of cards one day and they took their time to go through and pay attention to what I wanted to get rid of. All in all I never have a problem with this store and am a frequent visitor. read more

This is a great model shop. Do you need decals for whatever reason? They have a big free bin near the front. Do you need cement? What types? There are so many! And, if you don't know, the guys who work there do, and they will make sure you walk away with what you need. If you've been thinking about giving models a go, or are just looking for a place that has shelves lined with them, this is where you want to go. It's hard to believe that a brick and mortar like this place still exists, but it's wonderful that it does!

Extremely poor customer service/bait and switch. Here is a warning to people who consider buying singles from Skyfox games in Ontario online. During boxing week, I placed an online order to purchase a small number of specific cards from Skyfox Games, one of which is a reserve list card (Su-Chi). Two days later, I was sent an email to confirm that I wanted my order. I presume that it was due to the dollar value of the order. I promptly responded with "Yes, please proceed with the order." Please note, Skyfox games has fairly high shipping charges for shipping regardless of the size of the order. The next day, Skyfox Games sent an automatic email refunding for Su-Chi. The package was subsequently sent out without Su-Chi within a couple of hours without giving me any time to reach out to Skyfox Games regarding the refund. When I inquired with Skyfox Games, I was informed that, "Due to an inventory error they did not actually have the card in question. Please note, at no time prior to this, any live person from Skyfox Games contacted me about the missing Su-Chi or asked if I would still like the order since it is missing Su-Chi from the shipment. Had I been given a choice, I would have absolutely asked for the whole order to be cancelled for a full refund. I informed Skyfox games that I was not happy. Those cards were purchased as a set despite the extremely high cost of shipping from their website. For reference my order at the time was $450 CAD for 5 cards. Their competitors Face to Face Games gives FREE shipping on TCG singles above $100 and 401games gives FREE shipping above $165. Furthermore, by the time I was informed of the cancellation of Su-Chi, the boxing week was over, and pricing has returned to regular retail. If I had known that I was unable to obtain the card from Skyfox, then I would have purchased it and the other cards elsewhere. I ended my email with "What would be a reasonable course of action in this situation?" Their response to my inquiry was to focus on the shipping inquiry citing "It is industry standard to treat orders this way." and that the cost was incumbent on the insurance on the package. read more
