But there is one instructor who obviously does not want to be there and she makes it uncomfortable for the kids and the parents. We tried to brush it off but it was affecting our kids learning and they dreaded when she was the instructor. Why pay for someone who doesn't want to teach your kids and makes them uncomfortable? Communication was always an issue as well. Several times there were scheduling issues. We appreciate what our kids learned but there also wasn't any new skills being taught, each lesson was repetitive even after years. While we really liked some of the instructors we felt it was best to leave and find somewhere where our kids felt comfortable.

His wife, Shelley is a doll. But don't let that fool you. She is heck-a-va barrel racer. On the Pro circuit, she also trains barrel horses, and gives lessons. Their ranch is in, what I think, is the prettiest parts of Contra Costa county. Located on Marsh Creek rd., is is a short distance to a staging area for riding, hiking and biking.

Also, as a first time horse owner, I knew very little about horse care and health. Cici has helped me every step of the way in caring for my mare who was in bad shape when I took her on. I am so grateful to Cici because she helped me save this horse and get her into excellent health.
