The staff made us feel welcome and knew every child by name. There was a great balance of Montessori learning, independence, and fun activities. They also hosted events that gave parents a chance to meet and connect, which helped create a strong sense of community. The director, Ms. Diana, has high standards for her school while also being very kind and generous. Our daughter graduated from kindergarten with a full STO scholarship. After we moved out of the area, our younger daughter transitioned very smoothly to their other campus. We are grateful for our time at Inspire Kids Montessori in Ahwatukee and would recommend it to families looking for a Montessori school in the area.

The staff is so welcoming, they know every child by name and greet them at the door each morning. If time allows at pick up her teacher will give me a quick update about her day. She started thriving so quickly in every aspect. From the day to day, to the parent workshops, the 2 performances each school year and the STEM presentations I am always impressed with what's to come. I ended up starting my son in the infant classroom at 5months and I could have never imagined that even at that young age the growth and development that I saw with him. He had 100% food aversions and severe atopic dermatitis, the care, consideration and support that he and our family received from his teachers and the staff is next to none! The community that is cultivated there through school events and the Parent Support Organization (PSO) is amazing. The hardest conversation that we and the rest of the parents have is trying to figure out where to send them next that gives us everything that we have received and get at IKM Ahwatukee! This is not a daycare, this is curriculum-based Montessori that celebrates learning, community, culture and excellence!

This is a very small school that creates a close community of children that really care about each other. My son loves coming to school every day because his friends and teachers are patient, caring, and kind. He always says Mrs. Elledge and Ms. Tae are his favorite teachers. My son struggled at other schools but Mrs. Elledge welcomed him with genuine care and intention to understand him and guide him through the Montessori program. It is a school that develops the whole child and where each child is seen as an individual. This means children are taught academics at their pace, taught how to engage with their environment and classmates with respect, and where the teachers have a relationship with each child. Now that my son is going to first grade, we will always cherish the time he had at Little Lantanas and will definitely be back to visit!

Reese absolutely adored every moment at MJLC. She formed such strong bonds with her teachers, especially Ms. Spada and Ms. Emily, who made learning fun, engaging, and tailored to her needs. As parents, we always felt completely supported by the entire team; it's clear that Jess Spada knows how to run an exceptional pre-K program that nurtures both academic and social growth. Now in Kindergarten, Reese is thriving and was even the first in her class to receive a leader award--what a proud moment! We're incredibly grateful we found MJLC. After trying a few different places, we finally found this incredible center--and instantly fell in love. The warm, family-oriented atmosphere, the welcoming teachers, and the fantastic Director made the transition so much easier for both us and our daughter. She was presumed to be singling out and having other children degrade my child as well as other kids. When head staff was presented with this matter, multiple times last year 2023 it was shrugged off, and all of my emails were ignored or returned with empty remarks. Right before his second grade year started, parents of the children in my sons classroom had told me that my son was being treated poorly and that is why some of our kids were bonding because they were sticking up for him. When I approached the head staff about this, they told me they would not be switch classrooms and I was for a lack of better terms out of luck. Then disenrolled my son after I said he wouldn't be attending if he could not switch classrooms. Poor community really bad people skills and a huge lack of empathy for the children who go to the school. it really is all about money here. I am happy. He is no longer enrolled at the school. If you want a "what would Maria Montessori do?" Reply to every single one of your questions then this is the place for you.
