Yesterday I had my first experience with Skyline Electric. I called the day before after having a mishap during a remodel when our floor installer accidentally cut through conduit and severed the electrical line. They sent two electricians who fixed the problem in an hour and one half. Tom and Nic were efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable priced. They were careful and even cleaned up the debris after they finished. Since this was a condo I needed proof of liability insurance and an electrical license before the work began. The office was able to provide this. We had a short circuit in the conduit that tripped the breaker constantly. The only way to diagnose the problem was to pull new wire via the existing conduit. Aldo was excellent. He can think and figure out a problem quickly. His attention to detail is also great. He is experienced and it shows. He is able to look in a junction box and know where the wires are coming from and going to. All in all the job took over 4 hours. The lights are back on. We had an issue with one of our fixtures and Kent took the time on a SUNDAY to rush over and ensure everything was ok. He identified the problem and was willing to help in any way he could. This was an excellent experience. Not only did Kent fix the issue with our electric box that I called him for but also took a look and fixed an issue we had with a bathroom light fixture that I mentioned to him while he was here at no extra cost. These guys are amazing! I can't say more about how great of a job they did. Kent took the project head on after another Electrican said the project was not possible. His team of Ollie , alex and Tom were terrific. Ollie was the MVP of the job and was able to get under the house to install a new 50 amp line. These guys also helped get my hottub over the wall when the delivery guys needed an extra hand. Kent did a great job hooking up the hot tub and by the end of the second day everything was good to go. Tom was the main point man on the job and really worked his tail off to make everything work. Jeanette did an amazing job coordinating everything from the first quote to scheduling the job. Yet another 5-star review for Kent! I'd been saving up a bunch of little and big-ish electrical jobs in my house for a while and finally decided to bite the bullet. I hired Kent based on the yelp reviews and was NOT disappointed. He and Jeannette (his scheduler) were SO attentive and communicative with me from the get-go. He was slammed with some huge emergency kind of jobs for bigger clients, but he and Jeannette made sure to schedule time for my non-emergency stuff, and even offered to come to my place on an evening or weekend for no extra charge. He really considers every job equally important. His pricing was very competitive, and my jobs (from switching out some hanging lamps, putting in a new halogen bulb, to bigger jobs like bringing an electrical outlet to my outdoor deck) were not going to make him a millionaire, but he treated me like they would. He's a perfectionist and wouldn't allow my lamp to hang from the ceiling any way but the exact length and direction I wanted. Plus he's so much fun to work with. He's hilarious, down to earth, and has stories that will blow your mind. At the same time, he's extremely professional, knowledgable and meticulous about his work. He comes from a long line of electricians in his family and takes his work and your safety very seriously. And i haven't even mentioned Bob yet. Bob came with Kent the second time out, and he was just as warm, friendly and professional as Kent. My house presented loads of century-old challenges to them, but they did NOT charge me extra for the extra work. They stayed true to their quote. I've hired Skyline for several jobs and could not be more pleased with their service. They initially replaced a very old electrical panel with a new modern circuit breaker system. And recently, they came out on short notice to re-wire the power source to my AC unit to get it to work. Kent is an awesome guy who does great work and is 100% honest and fair. Kent sent Tomasz over to install a new receiver in a ceiling fan so that it would work with the remote. It wasn't an easy job because the fan had to be disassembled in order for the new receiver to be put in. Tomasz knew what he was doing. We were very impressed. We have a new electrician! It supposedly take 15 minutes to install a simple light fixtures but they play there for 3 hours and act like taking the light fixture back on and off. So I was having a washer/dryer delivered and when the delivery people arrived they told me I could not have it put in since my previous washer/dryer was hardwired and they said I needed to have someone come install a new outlet. I looked around for an electrician to get some quotes and Jeannette who runs the office was extremely responsive and helpful with what I needed to do in order to make sure the job was able to be done correctly. (No other company even got back to me) I was not expecting them to be able to get here same day, but within a couple of hours from when I initially reached out Kent (the supervising electrician) was on his way over and did an amazing/fast/clean job. I will now never need to look for another electrician as Skyline has my business for the next couple of projects that need to get done.
