We found out that the student was below grade level in reading only when he was tested in another school. As an educator myself, I find it very wrong, especially when one is paying a lot of money in tuition. Furthermore, in our experience, the first-grade teacher used ancient methodology and pedagogy. All in all, not a pleasant experience for the child and the parent of the child.

Don't tell me it can't be done. The teachers and staff at Churchill do what so many say cannot be done on a daily basis and they do it with compassion and engagement. It's clear they really care about the future leaders they are molding and they truly WANT to do the work they do. After transferring my daughter here, walking in the halls I heard children laughing for the first time in years. It brought me to tears. These students are genuinely happy at school. It's nothing short of miraculous. This is how school should be. Not the gladiator arena so many schools have become. Thank you. Thank you a thousand times over! Last year as I was a 6th grader kids were making fun of me and my teacher heard and didn't do anything which was in science class. I had issues through out the school year and the counselor didn't do anything to help. She would just threaten me about not coming back next year instead of helping me. How does their staff make 60 through 80 thousand a year?! Like what! They don't even help a kid that is a different race then other kids and it seems like they only help the kids that like in the cove which have a lot of money!

"Dr" Allen wouldn't actually teach he would tell made up stories 24/7. But I think it was just time for him to retire. The principal would read newspapers the whole lunch other than to yell. I never saw him other than that. The vice principal mainly would just block off the bathrooms at lunch. You would have to stay in the lunch room but you couldn't go to the bathroom during class. I got tripped so often by kids at this school I got an awful muscle injury and couldn't get out of chairs. DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL
