Very helpful and friendly staff. This was on my bucket list... We will definitely go up again. Next time, with bubbles

An absolutely amazing journey across the gentle valleys and meadows of the California central coast. Ocean views, descending and rising with the topography to see wildlife and soar amongst the clouds. Champagne pouring freely and finishing with an amazing sunset. But wait, there's more! Our pilot took us to treetop level to watch the sun go down, the fired up the burners to climb another thousand feet in the air to see it again! James, the pilot, really knows what he's doing and provides commentary along the flight for points of interest and fills champagne glasses without having to be asked. Overall, an amazing experience that should be on everyone's bucket list!

My wife and I had a GREAT experience with Sky's the limit! The entire staff were helpful and the balloon ride was incredible! The champagne toast at the end was a great way to appreciate the trip.

Best sunset you'll ever experience! Even better when you have such a good and funny pilot!

My wife and I did a sunset champagne flight over the Santa Ynez valley. James and his team were OUTSTANDING in providing an excellent experience. As the pilot James was first of all professional and safe, ensuring that everything was technically and environmentally as it needed to be. His concern for the people and animals that may be impacted by the flight of his balloon was impressive. We appreciated his stories and commentary on the landscape and inhabitants of the incredible landscape we were exposed to. The crew were hard working and efficient in putting the balloon up and taking it down. They were on time in picking us up at the meeting site and efficient delivering us back on landing. We have been on one other balloon flight and James proved to be a much better host / Pilot. We would highly recommend flying with James...worth every penny!

My husband and I had been talking about wanting to do a hot air balloon ride for years! First we said 10th anniversary...15th...20th... Forget it! We're doing it for our 22nd anniversary! When I told him I had found a balloon company that did evening flights, it wasn't even a question. Booked it! The whole experience was great! Super easy instructions from our pilot, James (I should have let him pre-board my short little legs, but that's on me; he was funny and full of stories which made us feel at ease on the flight. I was super amazed at how he navigated the balloon to exactly where he wanted to land. I would recommend it 150% without a doubt! Don't forget to tip the crew, definitely worth it!

James and his team took us on an incredible flight. He told us about the history of the area and taught us a bit about how the balloon operates. You can tell James is passionate about ballooning, and his team shares his enthusiasm. Even with the unpredictability of flying, we always felt that we were in good hands.

I don't have any other hot air balloon experience to compare to, but I was highly satisfied with the experience my husband and I had for our anniversary. The pilot and crew went out of their way to create a safe and special flight for us, complete with taking photos for us. We did the sunset flight and were not disappointed. They serve drinks and champagne on the flight too! Tip: eat a late lunch so you're not hungry. We were out from 5pm to 8pm start to finish, with about 45 min in the air. Also, bring enough cash for 15-20% of your bill.

James and his team did a super job introducing my boyfriend to hot air ballooning (it was my second time). It was a gorgeous day to enjoy the views, James' stories and expert piloting, and of course, the post-ride prosecco. We loved it! And landing oh so smoothly right into the trailer... that's a story in itself. Thank you for a great ride.

I never write reviews but I had to for them. We went for a ride yesterday for our anniversary and it was such a great experience. Everyone was very nice and the pilot is very experienced. It was noticeable from the beginning because of how particular he was of finding a place to take off. He kept things fun and informative the whole time during the flight. There wasn't a moment where I felt like we weren't safe during the whole flight. I highly recommend them.

The van that picks you up at Los Olivos Market (you need to go inside this market! ). Oh and use the restroom before you take off.

This is definitely a bucket list item! We were celebrating my 30th birthday ( kidding) You can ride in the morning (sunrise) or afternoon (sunset). Heard the sunset ride is a little longer (travel farther). due to the higher wind activity. We took the sunrise ride and traveled over the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley (Figueroa mountains, Neverland Ranch, acres of oak trees and simply beautiful skyline). You meet at Los Olivos Market and take a van to the spot where the balloon will launch. This process can take a bit because the weather can be unpredictable. Make sure you use the restroom before leaving unless you are comfortable peeing in the weeds . The van is quite packed and the weather can be chilly in the morning but once on the balloon it warms up quick! Dress in layers. James a no nonsense type of guy. He has a great sense of humor, runs a tight ship and knows what he's doing when he's navigating this balloon! He verbally walks you through what is going on, will Navigate you through the scenery but when it's time for business (operating the balloon) he's laser focused! This gave me peace of mind. The ride was amazing but expect to be in the basket packed in pretty tight. Plz shower and pop a mint because the quarters are close. When he turns on the heat ...you can feel it!!! This is when you start shedding clothing layers. The scenery and wildlife (deer, wild boars, bobcats ) was gorgeous. The landing was great as well. It's a process...so kick back and enjoy watching James do his thing. His team is great and hard working. It takes a team and even some riders to help land this balloon. The ride ends with champagne, orange juice or water...OR MIMOSAS . If you purchased lunch/breakfast than you order that at the market when you return and it's DELICIOUS. With your trip you can also order extras (like a birthday/anniversary sign) and they will take pics. Lastly...the crew does look forward to tips. So carry some .

I recently booked for 3 couples, a party of 6 for next weekend Feb 16th for belated V-day celebration. But the other 2 couples couldn't make it so I called today to update the party size to 2 people. Because we were only 2 people, we were told that they couldn't guarantee us a spot since it's not profitable for them to host a tour with only 2 people. He said he'll put me on a list, so if other people book, the tour will continue, if not, tour will be cancelled. I was a little surprised because I had received an e-mail from them that says buy a valentine special for a party of 2 (picture attached). I think it would've been nice to put a note that tours do not run if there is fewer than 4, nice to have but I didn't rate them a 4 instead of 5 star for this since I get it, a business needs to run on a profit. I decided to cancel and explore other options. When I called another tour, they explained that it was their slow season, also mentioned that there's a minimum number of people for them to be profitable, but provided me other options like instead of semi-tour, maybe first book a private tour, which is more expensive, but they'll be happy to lower the price if other people sign up too, or if I'm flexible, there's other days if I wanted the semi-tour. This was where I saw the difference between a 4-star vs 5-star service. And so to my previous statement, if you're able to book cloud climbers, you're going to have a good time. But what sets a 4-star from 5-star was this recent booking experience. 4-star was them politely letting me know they can't service two people. 5-star is letting me know, explaining why, and seeing if there's other options that might work.

Second and most importantly, I wanted to thank Toast Tours for a wonderful and memorable experience, from beginning to end. My Wife and I were making our first visit to the Central Coast, and decided that visiting some local wineries would be a nice way to get more acquainted with the area. I liked some of the reviews I had seen on Yelp regarding Toast Tours, as well as watching a a few quick YouTube vids before contacting them. From the very start, Kristina was a huge help. Thank you again. I conveyed some of what were looking to do on this trip, as well as our past experiences in Napa and Sonoma. Kristina did a masterful job of giving us options. Some more mainstream and like we have experienced before, as well as some smaller, boutique style options. Every question, she had an answer and suggestion for, and when we decided to book, I was confident in our choices. Toast Tours also takes care of the reservations, so that's one less thing to worry about as well. We chose to visit three wineries; Tablas, DAOU, and Ciento. All three were an amazing experience (I'll write more about those individually on their pages). I do want to highlight Ciento, however. This was a direct recommendation from Kristina, and they really stole the show. We would have never known or visited this wonderful winery if it wasn't for Kristina and Toast Tours. Our driver, Jimmy, was on time and extremely courteous. He has a wealth of wine knowledge, as well as local area knowledge, and he shared them in a fun and engaging way. He was a great help at each of the wineries, getting us in and out with our reservations, while also assising with our purchases. Thanks again, Jimmy!. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and they provide water and some small snacks, if needed. Another thing I want to mention that was very nice as well is the price. While these types tours can be a bit pricey at times, I feel their rates are more than reasonable. Kristina itemizes everything beforehand, so there are no surprises. If you decide to make some small changes to the itinerary, Toast Tours will work with you, and give you the cost differential. Exceptional service from top to bottom, and I would gladly and confidently book with Toast Tours again..

Just when I think the experience can't get any better, they find a way to raise the bar again. Scott has created something truly special with Sustainable Wine Tours. He has curated a one-of-a-kind experience that goes far beyond a typical wine tour. From intimate boutique wineries you would never find on your own to opportunities to meet the winemakers themselves, every stop feels authentic, personal, and thoughtfully chosen. Over the years, I've gained an incredible appreciation for wine because of these tours. The level of wine education, along with the knowledge shared about the Santa Ynez Valley, has been extraordinary. Every tour leaves me with a deeper understanding of the region, the vineyards, and the people behind each bottle. This time, Karina was our host, and she was fantastic. When she realized one of our scheduled wineries was one we had already visited, she immediately worked with Scott to arrange a different boutique winery. We would have been perfectly happy revisiting the original stop, but the fact that they made every effort to create a new experience speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests. The service is unmatched, the hospitality is genuine, and every detail is intentional.
