It was a very intimate experience, we were only a group of 4. I absolutely loved Dafoe winery, it was my favorite winery and Emily was an absolute delight (wine makers wife, hostess with the mostest). These tours are not accessible to the public. She talked about the history and climate of the Santa Ynez Valley and the unique variety it offers for different wine styles. She took us on different routes and told us about interesting landmarks. She recommended local tasting rooms we might want to try on the remainder of our trip.
