TWA Plane Crash Hiking Trail - One of the two places where you will probably lose the trail. This is looking down the trail, but coming up stay left.

The last time I did it I was scrambling up a steep rock face, and there was a gentleman waiting for me at the top of the rock face who encouraged me by saying, "you are almost at the crash site!" When I told him that I knew because I had been there before, he responded in amazement and asked, "why the heck did you come back?!" Yep, for many, it is that kind of hike! I believe it is rated at 4.8 out of 5 in difficulty, and by the time you finish the last half mile or so you will probably agree. Download a topographic trail (i.e. AllTrails) map on your phone, and you might need to bring an extra power source, because your phone may drain down searching for a cell signal while you lay down electronic breadcrumbs on the digital map. However, there are two places where it is almost guaranteed that you will miss a turn, and add some "bonus" miles. You definitely don't need "bonus " miles on this hike. You pass through at least 2-3 biomes as you ascend and descend. It's an interesting hike, but be prepared to give yourself a pep talk or two along the way Up. Also, expect your legs to be shaky by the bottom. Decending is a lot of eccentric contractions, which only fire about half the muscle fibers as concentric contractions. You can fact check that yourself. This is a hike to build up to. Remember - the best rescue is a self rescue! Have fun, be smart, and be safe.

The nature needs his asses beat for allowing this city to look like this i would not recommend people I care about to come visit this shit hole. It's not twa trails fault but I hate this city so fun things regrettable get a poor review. I am glad I wasn't born and raised here cause I would have blown my own brains out to not have to be in this poverty stricken city. I apologize for any typos on this review

Save time by purchasing your entry ticket online at:   https://www.cliffsamusementpark.com/buy-tickets/ Arrive as early as possible for the line that almost goes to Osuna.  The line does quickly move.  Going to Cliff's as an adult kid takes on a whole new meaning.  The rides were amazing but does rattle your bones or make you a tad bit nauseous.  Start off with the Rocky Mountain Rapids or water rides because you'll want your clothes to be dry before crawling back to your vehicle. The Seadragon was the ride that took me out. I tried going on as many rides possible that my body and stomach would allow.  Cliff's is opened Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.  Have a great time with the kids, or, you can be a big kid too. Enjoy and use sunscreen!

It was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was like $7.95 for sandwich , fries, and a drink! Don't forget the fresh lemonade, the great soft ice cream, and my all time favorite, funnel cakes. Yum! The kids loved the New Mexico Rattler roller coast and the high, high, high swings! The could see fire up there. A good time has by all.

On June 24th 2020, I took my Grandbaby Bruce Delias to Urban Hair Trampoline Park and wow, this was an experience: There is a zipline that transports children and citizens alike, so naturally, being a curious (but wild) grammy, I wanted to take my Baby on it! I strapped up and rode all the way around this establishment. I was flying... I was really flying... I could hear the zipline mechanism creaking under my weight (i was 305 pounds due to my excessive Twinkies diet. It snapped, it really snapped- and I fell face first with Bruce Strapped to me, causing irreversible damage to his pretty featurs. When I stood up, you could probably imagine what happened. He didn't scream, he didnt cry, HOW?! He just.. stared.. at me. Looking at his deformed face, all I was thinking was "Jeez, I need to get this thing of me." So i placed him down and told him I would purchase a soft serve cone as long as he followed the policy of telling his Mama. So I did, I bought his Ice Cream but his face was too far gone to consume. Unfortunately, he still is like this today, but the service was AMAZING! We got a free piece of pizza due to the accident! I love how the ambulance or cops didn't get involved because they would not have liked my twisted past.. (Which I will get into in another reviewer) Cheers to Urban Air! We have been there every year since this incident, and let's just say the family loves it! Mama still don't know! Bruce can't even tell her if he wanted to!!

This was an awesome experience to ride the 2nd longest tram in the world up to the top!…read more First of all, the day we rode was the 60th annual celebration of the tram. Thus, our tickets were all 50% off. We found out we'd be riding the third generation. It's been so long since I last visited the tram that I probably rode the second generation. It's roomy! Even with the 60th celebration, our wait wasn't extremely long. I believe there are about 30 people on each ride, but I didn't count. I was hoping I didn't feel crammed and it wasn't too bad. Once you're up there, it's amazing to be so far above the ground. On the way up, our 'captain' gave us a bit of trivia about the area, the tram, and our trip up. At some point, you'll pass the other tram coming down, which gives you an idea of how fast you're really going! Wow. Once at the top, it's about 10 degrees cooler. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. You can choose to hike a trail that begins on the back side of the restaurant. You'll see the ski lifts and options for different hikes. OR, you can grab a drink from the Ten 3 restaurant and check out the views. We put our name on the list to eat and sipped on cocktails during the wait. It was nice and relaxing up there at the top! We ate at Ten 3 (our wait was 30 minutes) then made our way down. Our guide on the way down didn't say a word, but I suppose it's the same as the way up. There's only one bench on the tram so if you have trouble standing make sure you let it be known. My mom sat going and coming. When you're back at the bottom there's another restaurant if you'd like to eat there instead. They also have a gift shop with some Sandia Tramway, and Albuquerque memorabilia. It's a cute shop. I bought a few items. It's a nice trip. I've ridden before, but it's been so long I don't even remember. Check it out.

You can purchase tickets online for a two hour window to ride the tramway up. After that you can spend as much time as you like at the peak before heading back down. We bought our tickets for the 3-5 PM window which is a popular slot as many people like to watch the sunset from the top. It is a gorgeous sight to watch the sunset from the peak and even more so as the lights turn on throughout the city below. It was also very cold in December so make sure you bundle up before taking the tram. One drawback is that the tram only runs every 15 minutes and there's a huge live to go back down after the sunset. It was almost an hour's wait to take the trip back.
