You can get a train from here into Kent and also to central London via Greenwich and Bexley lines - which is quite cool. There is also a little shop which used to be in the station and which I believe will be moving back in when the station is finished. I do miss not being able to use my Oyster here, and because it is outside the Oyster zone tickets are quite expensive. I also don't like the fact I can't top my oyster up here - yes I know I can't use it, but what if I want to check my balance etc!

There is a small coffee shop on the London side, although I haven't got a drink from here in years. There is two ticket machines outside, and they both top up your Oyster card too. I find that the staff can be helpful depending on who serves you, but I normally just buy my ticket from the machine. It is exactly what it says it is - a train station!

The station also has a small coffee shop which is open during the mornings. There is a self ticket machine too. The staff a friendly and helpful which always makes the morning travel better. There is on site parking but it is quite expensive. The road has double yellow lines so don't park as you will get a ticket. Mounting the curb is also not advised as the council usually has a mobile camera car which will take pictures and send you a fine.

It has a much nicer atmosphere in the mornings as they've added a cafe car onto the London bound platform. It's a pretty relaxed place all-in-all and the barriers are often open on the Kent bound platform (if that's your thing). Around the station there's a great selection of small shops including a top-rate florist and an iPhone repair place, so if you need to apologise for being so late home (due to southeastern railways sloppy train times) you're covered. Likewise when you throw your phone in frustration, you don't have to go far for a repair. All in all a good little station in a great commuter location.

Upney train station is a london underground station on the district line zone 4 the stop after…read morebarking. The station was opened in 1932. The station is a typical 1930's design layout. Their are slopes going to either of the platforms so very disabled friendly. On the off peak service there is estimated 12 trains per hour This train station really need an update as its very dark and dingy. Theres ever anyoe on the counter so theres nobody to help. Most of the time the gates are just left unopened unmaned so this is wear you get the people who wont pay to get on a train.
