He and I immediately established the kind of patient/physician relationship that is so critically important. I felt so confident with him that I left my own internist who I had been seeing (who is also a personal friend) and established my general healthcare with Dr. Tesfau. He is a kind and compassionate physician who also treats me with respect and dignity. He is very thorough and goes to great effort to make sure every possible issue has been considered prior to making a diagnosis. He is highly educated and extremely smart. I would recommend Dr. Tesfau to anyone, and I urge you to schedule an appointment with him if you need an internist or if you need a different one. As for his staff, the front office staff is extremely courteous and respectful. Although his nurse is very smart and on the ball with things she is to follow up on, etc., I have not been able to establish with her then type of a relationship that is so important. She is not patient with me, and she does not have much personality, and she is very quick to speak and leave it at that. I wish she were just a bit kinder and softer and more compassionate. But, I am sure Dr. Tesfau will overrule any potential problems that I might ultimately have with her if that ever occurs. I do appreciate her promptness in getting things done and making sure that I am cared for. At the end of the day, she does what she is supposed to.
