The facility is well-maintained and clean. The pool itself is spotless, the lockers were recently upgraded, and the shower area is always kept in great condition. It's clear that they prioritize upkeep, which I really appreciate. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. That said, this is very much a swimmer's pool--designed for lap swimming and training rather than recreational use or family playtime. While they do have some equipment available for use, most swimmers bring their own gear. One of my favorite aspects is how uncrowded it is when I go early in the morning. I usually get a lane to myself, which is such a luxury compared to other pools. The membership fees are very reasonable for what you get--especially considering the quality of the facilities and the experience. If you're looking for a pool geared toward training or serious lap swimming, I highly recommend The Swimstitute. It's not designed for wading or casual recreation, but if you're a swimmer, this place is perfect!

No response. I called on September 8 to follow up. No response. I followed up again on September 15 by phone and email. Still no response. I finally had to track down and contact the CEO directly before anyone addressed my cancellation. Despite all of this--and despite my having documentation of the original cancellation--Little Whale charged us anyway and cited its "perpetual enrollment" policy to justify the charges. That policy is a secondary concern, but also worth knowing: enrollment automatically continues and you continue to be charged until you cancel. In my experience, this significant recurring-billing arrangement was buried in the enrollment policies rather than clearly highlighted. But my primary complaint is much simpler: I did cancel. Multiple times. They failed to respond or process it, and then tried to charge me as though I hadn't. That is incredibly frustrating and, in my view, unacceptable. We had two lessons a week for 12 lessons and my son would count the days until he could be back in the water again with Dolores. She was so patient with my son who is on the spectrum and this was a huge concern of mine. Dolores was very kind and encouraging and never made my son feel defeated. My experience, since joining in early June of 2026, has been life changing. On my first day, I was greeted by Edvard. He was warm-hearted, welcoming, full of positive energy, competent, and he made me feel right at home. He took his time to show me around the facility and was patient with me and my ignorance. The place is a hit. It has everything I need and more. A full-court basketball gym, multiple saunas, a jacuzzi, and plenty of space and sophisticated exercise equipment.
