It's clear that they prioritize upkeep, which I really appreciate. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. That said, this is very much a swimmer's pool--designed for lap swimming and training rather than recreational use or family playtime. While they do have some equipment available for use, most swimmers bring their own gear. One of my favorite aspects is how uncrowded it is when I go early in the morning. I usually get a lane to myself, which is such a luxury compared to other pools. The membership fees are very reasonable for what you get--especially considering the quality of the facilities and the experience. If you're looking for a pool geared toward training or serious lap swimming, I highly recommend The Swimstitute. I am giving 4 stars because some trainers seem to handle children a bit roughly, particularly when encouraging them to put their heads underwater. There should be greater consideration for younger children, especially given differences in age, comfort level, and physical build. My child felt very uncomfortable with one of the coaches and said he did not want to have future lessons with him. Additionally, the number of showers is limited. However, the changing rooms are spacious, and there is a large play area that helps keep infants and young children engaged. I would definitely recommend despite a few coaches. This is one of the better swim schools in Roseville.

My son loves the water and it's been such a struggle as he was never able to swim without a float or a life vest. Now my son can swim above and under water with so much confidence! He can even to a few tricks!! When he gets tired he learned how to roll over and float on his back and take a break. We had two lessons a week for 12 lessons and my son would count the days until he could be back in the water again with Dolores. She was so patient with my son who is on the spectrum and this was a huge concern of mine. Dolores was very kind and encouraging and never made my son feel defeated.
