If you're interested in joining, and don't know anyone that is currently enrolled, just ask any parent and both of you get a credit to your account. They offer several classes based on age. One of the limitations they have is gymnastics. Boys can join gymnastics if they are under four (? Or 5?) years old, but when they get older, they cannot move to a higher level because it is for girls only. Otherwise, they have dance, swimming and Tag. We currently have our daughter enrolled in tag, and most of the teachers are pretty good. It gets a bit tricky when you have other kids in the same class who are disruptive and the teacher doesn't do much to navigate to the class back. If! You are a parent that likes to come early before the class, it might be a bit tricky getting in since the other classes are just getting out. With that, the best area to park is in the back. There's even a back door there you can enter through. If you miss a class or are planning to miss a class, you just have to make sure to notify them via website two hours prior to the class so that you can get a make up for the class for next time, so make sure you grab all of the class schedules located in the check-in desk on the wall because you can choose any make up class to try! Not very accommodating for parents they never have anywhere for us to sit and watch. The seats they do have are not good for your back. With what they charge they could dramatically improve in this area which is why I give a low rating because they don't ever take any feedback and do anything about it. read more

My daughter loves it here. She's 3 and does the gymnastics program. This place runs like a well oiled machine. They have a helpful parent portal and are great with communications. The place feels clean despite an insane amount of people going in and out. Only downside is no WiFi. The best thing about this place might be the teachers though. We have been going here for a while. Not about my kid, but one of the thicker teachers of the young kids wearing a black Tricks shirt in the style like this: T*R*I*C*K*S (she was a bit tall and had long wavy brown hair pulled into a ponytail). She was clearly annoyed with the kids, didn't have patience, and pulled one little girl's arms several tinea, once forcing her onto the floor. I could hear her words as she was talking to her, and she didn't explain what she was doing or ask if it was okay to touch her like that. She pulled her down and moved her body all kinds of ways without talking about it first, the kid looked very disturbed and her mom looked uncomfortable but unsure how to say anything. So I am. She gave what I'd call a "stankface" to several parents and fellow employees when she was seemingly unaware that people could see her. A very rude person. read more

My daughter has been going here for various classes for 4 years. They always have theme weeks and lots of classes for a variety of age ranges all times of the day throughout the week. The staff are super nice, and they have a good makeup policy if you miss class. Definitely a great place for your littles to let off some energy! read more

If you're looking for activities for your toddler or child to do, look no further! TRICKS has got it all and they offer to all age groups, so you can definitely kill all the birds with one stone! They offer gymnastics and tumbling, agility training, all types of dance and swim. My daughter does the Fairytale Ballet and she loves it! What I love is that the prices are fair, you're able to cancel (with notice) and make up classes by trying other classes as well! Even though my daughter is enrolled in ballet, she's also been able to try tumbling and jazz classes through her make up classes! There's plenty of seating to watch your kids as they practice, and there is even a play room for your other kids to keep them preoccupied. There is a little something for everyone at Tricks Gymnastics. In addition to Gymnastics, this there's swimming, dance of all kinds and kid group classes offered. I love that there are plenty of places for adults to sit and watch the kiddos. There are also plenty of water fountains so bringing water bottles aren't completely necessary. It is nice to know ahead of time if you get hot like me to know that the pool room is heated to keep the kids warm when they are out of the pool. So nice of Tricks to have outside seating next to the window so you can still see the kids as well as not be so hot in the room. I love that there is plenty of parking outside of the building too. We are new to the area as we just moved. Loved tutu school where we previously moved from but when I saw they offered gymnastics, ballet, dance and swimming lessons all at one place, I thought I'd give it a try. Teacher was fine but the fact that there is a dress code for a paid class for toddlers is a bit absurd. Pink tutu, tights and ballet shoes. My daughter insists on picking out her own clothes these days as she is 3, and honestly some days the fight isn't worth it..so I let her wear her grey tutu and black ballet shoes with glitter jacket she previously wore. We were told after class about it, uh okay sorry? I'll take my business and money elsewhere. No thanks! read more

My 9 y/o attended a birthday Party here. The staff was super bubbly and happy and seemed attentive. I didn't stay for the party the whole time. But I did notice is that it seemed very interactive very community oriented. I was there during the birthday girl opening her presents and the staff did a very good job coordinating this effort. It appears it takes a lot of stress off the parents and the staff facilitates the party timeline and keep the kids interested and excited. They also do individual classes and memberships. I really want to like this place but there's just a few things I can't get over. Why is there no guest WiFi? The gym is packed with parents waiting for their kids to finish class and there is strangely no complimentary guest WiFi offered. Even my small community church has a guest WiFi for crying out loud! I will start off by saying that I know this place isn't for everyone, but my kids and I happen to love it. My daughters (ages 4 and 5) are in TAG and gymnastics classes, and they love them! Before Tricks, I was becoming disheartened because neither of them flourished in other classes I took them to. Here, the classes are small enough that they get interaction with the teachers, and the activities are stimulating enough for them not to get bored. (For anyone wondering, TAG stands for Tricks Agility Gym. It's a little more obstacle-course based, and I see more boys in the class. However, it's basically the same as a gymnastics class, just higher energy.) One of my kids also does swim classes. They go very slow, which is necessary for my daughter, but may bore more advanced swimmers. They check off skills as they complete them. I'm still assessing my thoughts on their swim program, since it's a completely different department than TAG/gymnastics. What I can say for now is that the swim staff are really nice and my daughter loves the class, I'm just not sure how much progress is being made yet. The office staff are extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable. I've never had any trouble signing my kids up for different classes or simply getting questions answered via phone, email, or in person. Also, the kids waiting area is a bonus. As a mom of multiple kids of different ages, I always have one or two waiting. It is true that some people could potentially get a bad teacher (although I've never seen one), the place could benefit from free WiFi access for parents, and it can get pretty crowded at times, but I believe the pros outweigh the cons. read more

My 4 year old is enrolled in a swim class here. I've had my other child enrolled previously. Having tried Steve Wallen school in EDH, this place is very different. And cheaper. I do like that I can sit inside the pool room, although according to a sign posed, it can be slightly uncomfortable for the observer, kept at 86° and 55% humidity. Great for the swimmers, though. There is a max of 4 kids to each instructor and based on age/experience level. We are at basically the first level up from the parent/tot class, and currently have Mr. Matthew as an instructor. He is great and makes the kids laugh, while teaching them safety and basics. I recommend scheduling the first class of the day (9:00am is earliest) because the it doesn't seem as hot and humid yet as it can be near he end of the day. Also, if you wait for a 4pm or 5pm class, the parking lot is CRAZY. I've had to park in the Goodwill lot next door a couple of times before. No big deal, but towing two preschoolers across the parking lot when they're tired, hungry, and wet near the end of the day can be a chore. Tuition is due 25th of each month, prepaid for the following month. They offer a little discount for multiple class and siblings. Making up classes that you miss due to illness or otherwise are super easy to reschedule. Just have to call the front desk and they will find an open spot. Doesn't have to be with your instructor, just the same class level. With two kids in different class levels and not being able to find a class held at the same time as the other, I sometimes feel like I live at Tricks. As the kids want to be enrolled in other classes like gymnastics or dance, it'll only get worse. But it's one stop shopping, I guess. Based others experiences and reviews, it's more of a fun thing for the kids rather than the other dance studios that have a more strict curriculum. read more

Tricks is a wonderful beginning gymnastics gym and perfect if you're not super interested in the competitive side of gymnastics. (Although I do believe they have a small team but I never saw them) We did pull my daughter out recently but not because they did anything wrong... My daughter is pretty new to gymnastics but an advanced tumbler. While all the teachers were amazing and sweet (my daughter loved them) I really felt like she was regressing on her tumbling skills being there because they just don't seem to teach anything at a high level. I would highly recommend Tricks if you're just looking for something fun or if you're looking to learn basic gymnastic skills. The staff is great, the facility is clean, plenty of parking and all the kids there seem to be having an awesome time! We have our son enrolled in swim lessons at this Tricks Gym location. Overall we are happy with the place. They have a lot of classes of various types here at any given time... so it can be a bit of a zoo. However, all the staff are very nice, and the instructors do a good job of focusing on the students in their class. If you are looking for a more aggressive swim/survival type instruction, this is not the place for you. I'm not quite into the 'throw your kid in the pool - he'll figure it out" technique... but I think they could push them a bit harder. Of course for the monthly fee, they're probably happy to let him take his time. ;-) Even with as many children take classes here, it is very clean and well organized. It would probably be four stars if it were either a little cheaper, or if they offered a better multiple-class discount. read more

We first started at Tricks by using a groupon. The staff was super welcoming and we continued my 3 yr old's class here with Miss Kylee. So far he loves it and always looks forward to Monday gym classes. My 20 months old is very shy and isn't as outgoing as big brother so it took four classes of him clinging to me for dear life before he started to warm up to doing the activities. I've had my kids at Tricks for about 4 years now doing gymnastics, dance, and swim and I am very pleased with our experience here. It's a great place for kids, especially the under 5 crowd. We've had some fantastic coaches and teachers that my kids have absolutely adored. I'd say my favorite aspect of Tricks is their customer service and willingness to accommodate our needs. Whenever I call or visit the front desk I am always greeted with a smile or friendly voice, which goes a long way for me. They are the only place we've been to that has had such a flexible and understanding make-up policy - I know I'm getting my money's worth no matter what. I also appreciate that Tricks offers multi-class and sibling discounts... that is so helpful to families with multiple kids! I also am grateful there are many classes going on at the same time so I can have both my kids go to class on one day instead of having to drive there multiple times a week. This place is awesome! I've been bringing my daughters here for over 5 years! All of the gymnastics classes we've done have been great - from Tumble Bunnies (including parent participation) to the Level 1 class! All of the teachers we've had have been amazing. I love how each class is developmentally appropriate. It is for the younger kids - I don't see many kids over age 10 or so. The office staff is amazing and well organized. Another perk is that if you have an absence, you can trade your make up for another option (swim or dance). The swim program itself is a good program but my son was made to feel very unwelcome by not only his teacher but other parents as well. When you have something to say to my son about accidentally splashing your son but stand by and watch while your son sneezes and hits my son on several occasions with a pool noodle and say nothing. The teacher seem not to care when I addressed my concerns. I understand WE are not the type of people you are used to catering too but at least act like you care. I personally think the group swimming lessons are a waste of money. Especially if you have young children taking lessons. You get 45 minutes and depending on the temperament of the kids in a particular group. Your child might actually only get minutes of actual lessons. Their summer camps are terrible. They give an age range 6-10, it's really more for 6 year old. My daughter who was 10 was pretty much ignored. At one point during the day mind you mid summer the kids were taken outside to draw with chalk. My daughter had asked to go inside because of the heat. The ladies told me daughter to stay under a tree. Where she stood watching the younger kids. They ignored her. Insensitive and careless staff. read more

We love Tricks. We have been going to Tricks for 5 1/2 years now, since my daughter was 18 months old Now both my kids go there for gymnastics. I love how the coaches incorporate life skills with their classes: like patience and good listening ears. Both my kids look forward to class each week and get really excited every month when they get their numbers for their skill posters. The coaches and office staff are so friendly. We have been a Tricks family since 2006. I have two children, and they both love attending their gymnastics classes. My daughter also attends dance lessons at the school. What I love about Tricks is their positive atmosphere. They make gymnastics fun, and not intimidating. They also teach important skills such as sign language, learning to work as a group, some musical components, as well as basic skills (waiting your turn, treating others with respect & kindness etc.). This place is TERRIBLE!! We signed up at the open house because we wanted the same class as her sister. They told us we would be. Then, after the first class, they moved her sister because she was older (by only 9 months). I had 4 months of swim lessons, then after 2 months, my child graduated from the minnows class but they had no dolphin class available for her. They had one class available for slightly older kids with the same skill but they would not let her in. They put her on the waiting list and kept her in the minnows class. She was doing the same thing for 4 months. Didn't progress much. Then, when she finished, we tried to schedule her 3 makeup classes, while we were on vacation, and they said since we were finished and not "enrolled" or paying anymore, we couldn't use the makeups. One of those makeups was because the teacher was absent and my 3 yr old would not participate with a stranger. They would not work with me and I was unable to use 3 classes, that's almost a whole month!!! They are a huge RIP OFF!! read more
