By way of just one example, when it started to rain after the first concrete pour, they put in a tenting system and actually left a member of the team on site to keep an eye out for any possible issues. They quoted me $9,500 for removing and replacing the broken tiles. Two of them worked for less than 6 hours, used a single roll of the cheapest peel and stick roofing material you can buy (supposedly put over a "snow shield" which is just a thin sheet of metal from what I can tell). When I asked for an itemized list of labor and materials they told me that they have to pay $77K a year for a special license to work on asbestos tiles and that they really needed the check ASAP for payroll. I looked it up after the fact and there is no license that cost that much! I deeply regret paying them.

They came to finish the work, but this time were abusive and confrontational when I asked they wear better masks that I would provide if needed in my house, like it wasn't my house, my choice. They never considered that I may need the extra protection from covid, just yelled at me and left. They were hotheaded, rude and ultimately, mediocre.
