We are sticklers for quality in the sea of particle-board furniture offered at the local 800-pound gorillas. Kincaid's furniture is always made from the best materials (solid hardwood and durable leather) and is in a separate (higher) class in comparison to what is available elsewhere. We also have had two minor furniture malfunctions (one due to a toddler harming wood on a stool and the other due to doors not properly aligning on a hutch) and both times Kincaid stood 100% behind their piece and either repaired and/or replaced the damaged items, hassle-free. Making any kind of big purchase can be fraught and stressful. You want to get a good deal, but it's like the people selling the things are trying to make that as difficult as possible. But I'm happy to say that getting our mattress at Mattress Xpress was probably the most pleasant "big purchase" shopping experience I've had. The showroom is absolutely massive, and no one was hanging around, watching our every move as we tried them out. We did meet Karl, and he directed us to some we'd like and answered any questions we had, but he mostly let us figure it out for ourselves, which was great because we were probably there for 1.5 hours going back and forth between our favorites. We ended up getting a great deal on a king size latex mattress. And even though it was one of the most expensive mattresses in their store, it was sooo much less than what you'd pay for a latex mattress elsewhere, and even less than a mid-range mattress at a big name store. We used to come back from traveling wishing that our bed at home was as comfortable as one in a hotel. Now that's reversed and our bed at home is more comfortable than any hotel.

When I reached out about the issue with Emily, I was honestly unsure how it would be handled. Not only did Emily take my concerns seriously, but she went above and beyond by offering an exchange and even arranging a temporary bed while we wait for the new one to arrive. That level of care, responsiveness, and professionalism is truly rare--especially for such a significant purchase--and we really appreciate it. Truly great customer service.

I purchased a sofa from Mooradians and noticed the arms leaning in and the middle sagging after a…read morelittle use. Called Mooradians and they agreed to pick it up to repair it.  It was brought back after they added the center supports that were missing when it was originally delivered.  We were told by their service guy and Bill Mooradian himself that we had removed the center supports that were missing.  An unbelievable claim that we vehemently deny.  The arms looked better on the returned sofa but definitely not completely straight.  The bottom was not straight across the 3 sections and the sofa rocked.  Even within 1 section that is less then 2 feet across it was off by over 1 inch and that is very noticeable.  That is a sign to me that the frame was bent because of the missing support and they hadn't addressed it.  I talked directly with Bill Mooradian and he claimed it was perfectly fine to be that uneven but reluctantly agreed to take it back again. It came back again with little change in the uneven bottom that is still very noticeable and it still rocked.  We were told both times to use the sofa and the rocking would eventually settle out. Plus on one side the power recliner wasn't working.  Their service guy came out again and found where a wire was loose under the sofa from when they worked on it.  I showed him where it wasn't even across the bottom and he claimed that he wasn't told to make it even across the bottom . That was the whole reason they had taken it back to repair it! He would talk to Bill Mooradian about it and one of them would get back to me.  That's several months ago and they never got back to me! They deliver a defective product with missing center supports and then won't repair the resulting bent frame.  Bill has claimed that they often come from the factory like this but ours was not delivered all out of whack and we went back to the store to look at the same sofa on the showroom floor. The arms were straight and it was perfectly straight all the way across the top and the bottom of the sofa.  Beware of their terrible customer support and failure to stand behind their product. This is not a cheap store so avoid them
