Bought an 11 inches matress - received a 13 inches. Within 30 minutes was able to get back my old mattress and returned the 13 inches. I purchased a king size mattress for $5136 and after it was delivered, I determined it wasn't comfortable so I asked for my money back within the 30 day. Return policy has stated on the website. Nobody called me back so I went to the store. The sales person told me that it was for exchange only and I told him on the website it says 30 day return. Again I called and nobody returned my call. I love my new grown up mattress! Dave and Alex were very patient with me as I took naps on every mattress in the store. I went in thinking I would just by the least expensive...and was scared to look at any mattress outside of that range....then Dave reminded me that when we value our sleep...our mental and physical health improves. It's life changing. Amazing quality and comfort. So glad I stopped by. Really disappointed with the delivery and communication process. Living in an apartment building you have to reserve elevators. I had an agreement with Jacqueline that the elevator could only be held for a certain amount of time. The day of delivery I was scheduled to have mattress delivered in a timed window. This delivery was changed without notification and I had to call and ask what happened. I was bumped back because of another customers time window and there was no courtesy call to notify me. Mattress Kings offers competitive quality and pricing comparable to the big name mattress and furniture stores. The sales staff were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of their products and of the competitors in their arena. They were willing to negotiate the total cost for a mattress, adjustable base, and accessories to meet our bottom line. Alex, who was the area manager, assisted us in our second visit and honored agreements we discussed with one of his sales staff a few days prior. He was very professional and competent in his field. We walked out the door with a king size cooling memory foam mattress, a fully adjustable base, and two king size bamboo memory foam pillows all for 1/2 the cost of the competition! COMPLETE RIP OFF - MATTRESS KINGS WILL SAY WHATEVER IT TAKES TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. READ MY STORY TO PROTECT YOUR WALLET! On September 18, 2019 I went to Mattress King's midtown location. After expressing to Jackie Krame, the sales representative, that I did not want to purchase a boxed, or "rolled up" mattress (like a Casper), she insisted that the MLily Fusion Luxe K was not. So, with this knowledge, I purchased the mattress. The mattress was delivered the next day, September 19th. To my surprise, the mattress was delivered "rolled up" - exactly what I expressed I did not want. Immediately after delivery, and before opening the mattress, I contacted Priscilla at Mattress King's customer service line and let her know that I was mislead in my purchase and wanted to return the mattress before opening it. We then came to the agreement that Mattress Kings would make an exception and would refund me if I was not happy with the mattress. With this knowledge, I unwrapped and used the mattress. THIS AGREEMENT IS IN WRITING. THERE IS NO CONFUSION. Mattress Kings (email, 9/19/2019): "if you completely want to opt out of that option then of course after you've tried out the mattress and do not want it then, we can start the refunding process and pickup the merchandise as long as it has no stains, soils or removal of law tag." On September 29th I emailed Mattress Kings with my intention to return the mattress for a full refund. A received an email the next day, on September 30th, with instructions on how to proceed with the return and refund. Then, on October 2nd, I received the following email that revoked their written agreement to honor a refund: Mattress Kings (email, 10/2/2019): "I sincerely apologize sir I am afraid we have both been misinformed about the Customer support policy here at mattress kings I am new here and accidentally misled you and again I sincerely apologize. As I was putting in your refund request I was advised by a manager that what I told you was not correct." I have since called and written numerous emails. NOBODY HAS HAD THE DECENCY TO RESPOND TO ME!
