I first found this business through Yelp and after reading their reviews, i decided to check out their website. Requested an appt and Alex returned my call promptly. I was on the market for a new mattress, and although i didnt want a cheap mattress, i couldnt really afford to shed $1700+ in a mattress (i had been shopping the major stores for a few days). When he gave me the address and made it to the storage depot he is located at, i started thinking the reviews were fake and this was going to ve either a bait and switch or i was going to find really crappy products, but man was i mistaken. Alex was extremely friendly; his warehouse space was clean and organized. Although he didnt have a selection of brands like major stores, he did have most of the different style of mattresses i had tried and brands with a lower price tag. I tested 5-6 different types and decided on a mattress that felt exactly like the $1700 i had set my eyes on at El Dorado, but this one was a fraction of the cost...$399 actually. I instantly purchased, not only because of the price tag, but because the mattress felt good for my back and because i felt Alex wasn't there to push a product on me but he was actually there to establish a business relationship and let me decide if any of his products was good for us. He showed me the tag info on the mattress i was purchasing and it had been manufactured in the recent monthd, brand new and still in its original wrapping. He then proceeded to tie up the mattress to my car and i left, still thinking the deal was too good to be true. I researched the brand and did find great reviews on it and the price tag was a bit steeper elsewhere, so this definitely was a great grab! PLEASE READ: I really don't know what to say about this place...other than ITS AWESOME!! I must have saved at least 2,000. First of all, the mattress(s) we received were not cheap (quality) by any measure. Our last mattress was an oversized Trump King double pillow-top (Serta I think), whatever it was; the mattress cost me over 4k. After moving back to Miami from out of the country, we needed new and quality mattress(s) -quick. Someone told me to check this new place out; word of mouth network marketing: Miami Discount Mattress. I did not expect at a 1/3rd of the normal price, anything near the same quality of my last Serta; but we were so happy with the product after the delivery guy showed up, we ordered another one. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. If you pay 200 for a mattress , what do you expect? If you pay 900 to 1,000 you expect a fair product (in terms of the 1 to 3 ratio of cost savings). This product meets/exceeds the quality of our last mattress. Delivery was immediate (the next day); and could have been the same day if I could have scheduled the elevator sooner. Prices are upfront, and already way less than these expensive furniture department/commercial stores. If you stop and think about it (common sense); you're not paying for: salesman commission, sales manager salary, coffee and doughnuts, expensive showroom floor, corporate car, 200% markup and whatever else I left out. You are simply buying a product with little additional markup costs. If you enjoy throwing your money away, go somewhere else. I have back problems, and after laying on tempur-pedics, knew I needed something firm but with enough give at the pressure points and enough give since I am sometimes a side-sleeper. A price-point of $6000 I could not afford, and started looking on craigslist to see what i could find. Found this one from craigslist and at first was wary of it as it isn't a name brand store but a warehouse. But don't be fooled by it. This place is in Public Storage near Dolphin Mall with super helpful Alex to help you out. I called him and set up a time to go and take a look if it was really that good as advertised. The options are enough to make your decisions and most importantly at really huge discounted price. I got everything I wanted delivered next day for a nominal fee by another super friendly guy. Got a great deal on a mattress.... Alex was Patient throughout the selection process even through it was getting late then Tied it onto our car... Even though its based out of a storage unit there were still more then enough mattresses laid out to "test".. and every other aspect about the transaction was done better then the Mattress stores.. Great service. Operates out of a storage locker. Keeps overhead low so it's possible to get a new mattress and box for $279. Have nothing bad to say. Alex was very friendly and even attached the mattress and box to the top of my car (BMW) for free. Can't beat that!
