She made sure my room was ready and that it was feather free. The hotel is on the newer side. There is a small indoor swimming pool (It was always full when I was near it so I didn't get a photo) and a small fitness room with a variety of equipment. The hotel had two elevators but just one seemed to be working and it was very slow. The left elevator never seemed to be operating during my stay. Breakfast was nice with a large variety of hot and cold items available. I'd stay here again if in the area.

When we came back the door was locked. No one answered the doorbell. We called for assistance and were told to enter our room code. Three times that didn't work and neither did the other code we were given. We were told to drive to a sister hotel but our car keys were in the room. We were told someone would be there in 15 minutes. My husband tried entering the last 3 digits of our code and the door opened. We went to our room and packed. As we were leaving a woman opened the outside door explaining that the code worked and that we were being charged for the night. Never once did she apologize. The following Monday I called and asked for the owner's name and contact information. I emailed him about the experience and as of today I haven't heard from him. Very disappointing experience both Amanda Everett, the manager, and Stephen Hill, the owner do not know how to handle customer situations. We also were told that the hotel had problems with the door not opening. Had my husband not figured out how to open the door with only 3 digits we would have been standing on the sidewalk, on a Friday night for 45 minutes.

When I found out this is where the rehearsal dinner was, I booked. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. B&B care takers are gracious. There is a small kitchen open to use if you want to make your own meals. Coffee, tea, soda, and water available at all hours. Breakfast is served when you want...at least when you are the only guest. From the responsiveness and patience of the folks at the front desk to those who keep the places clean and the breakfast bar well-stocked - the experience is friendly and cheerful and supportive. And the biggest huzzah goes to the fact that this places is TRULY wheelchair accessible. They have tended to every details in needs for space and reach and turning around and more.... that is a rare find. The place is clean and safe and just off I-95. We stopped in, changed, went to the gig, came back and passed out almost immediately. In the morning I woke up and had a great complimentary breakfast with cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, bacon, an omelet, and coffee. Then I worked all that off in the fitness center. A fabulous hotel close to everything you need in Goldsboro, NC, sharing a parking lot with a Chili's and Logans Roadhouse for good nearby eats. 10/10 will recommend to friends.
