I said I was a side sleeper with lower back problems and would like a mattress on the firmer side, and Cary had me try out several different mattresses, increasing in firmness each time so I could find the one that felt best. Next we started in on couches, and based on my feedback he directed me to one I had originally ignored. As soon as I sat in it I knew it was the one, it just felt right, and even trying other options none compared. He called me on Monday to confirm a delivery window on Tuesday with a third party moving service. Due to an issue with the delivery company's website, they never got the order, and he called me on Tuesday as soon as he realized what happened. He tried to get them to still deliver same day, but they didn't have availability until the following day, which worked out fine. He even offered to deliver the items himself out of consideration for my work schedule. All-in-all a fabulous shopping experience.

We had one mattress for a little over three months and decided that it was too firm for us. We reached out to the store (barely within the return window) and they went above and beyond to help us get a replacement mattress that will be a bit softer AND we actually received money back because the alternative option that we chose was less expensive that what was originally purchased. I say they went above and beyond because we will not be here and they had to schedule the pick-up and re-delivery out into February 2026 and honored all of the terms of the original return agreement. From sales floor people to managers everyone communicated well and worked together to make sure I was a happy customer. Their customer service is very much appreciated.

Only one remains and seems more targeted to the student and younger adult market than to people needing to refresh an older bedroom. The brand and grade and size, especially mattress depth, needed to remain within a certain measurement because at this point I am unwilling to buy all new bed linens to accommodate these newer mattress sizes. And we did not need a whole new "set" as we have already had to customize the support unit to a low profile, split queen box spring with the Boulder Mattress Firm location some years ago. Needed for a short resident in an older house with narrow stairwell to the second floor location. Having once decades ago, ordered a set that had to be hoisted by climbing ropes via a sliding door to balcony of second floor bedroom, we were not going to ever do that again. The hunt was hard and the one that seemed most likely from an online search was only in stock to see at the Superior, CO location. Not far so we went in. Like all Mattress Firms I have visited, the staff is very limited in number but always helpful. We did look at the one we came to and though it seemed a bit softer than ideal, we had not found anything more likely to try. So we did buy it. Victor set it up for delivery in a few days. Availability turned out to be an issue after all. This is the point in which you need all the help you can get from staff. And we did get it from Victor. Much of this company is based on automated messages with not much option to customize delivery. After 2 tries on a date, with contact with staff, a delivery date was chosen when availbility returned. But you cannot select time slot. You get an automated message the night before with the time based on their route for the day. The first one we got conflicted with a long awaited med appt so Victor manually contacted them to have it delayed a day.You can delay by the day, but not by a time slot. That night we got the automated message for the next morning, snow and all. But they did make that time and the delivery team did a great job of getting it in and leaving their snowy shoes on the porch etc. The mattress was in plastic covering. The mattress was in fact softer than we had started out looking for but in fact slept very well last night. There is the option to swap it out within a time limit as needed but we probably won't at this time, because all of the other options have been examined and rejected. Perhaps another time in life we will have an opportunity to start from scratch on bedroom design but for now, we are satisfied.

Now they say I can't cancel the mattress they still haven't delivered because I needed to cancel my order within a half an hour of submission. How would I know I would never get the item I paid for a half an hour prior? Additionally, they won't refund me my money and are charging me for the free base that came with the mattress that I never received. So they have my money. I have a "free" thing I don't want or need that I now have to pay for and they get to sell the mattress I just paid for to probably 100 customers to run the same scam.

GO ELSEWHERE~ Bad integrity with warranty!…read more I purchased a VERY expensive wool\spring mattress from Urban Mattress with a 20 year NON-prorated warranty. $3,095 + tax. The mattress is failing and there are sunken areas in which my body now sinks in around 25% (I mostly sleep on my back)! I weigh slightly over 100lbs. I'm not a heavy person putting undo stress on the mattress. Based on some comments from Urban Mattress, I've discovered this mattress is failing for many people, not just me. The customer service lady first offered to replace with a USED display mattress! That's not what the promise of the warranty is! They are refusing to replace it with the same despite the NON-PRORATED warranty, unless I pay an additional $900. They want me to participate in their replacement cost! I even offered to let them substitute with a different but similar brand of wool mattress that costs less. They said no. They said they'd replace (for free) with a latex mattress. I did not purchase a latex mattress! I purchased a very expensive wool one because I'm allergic to latex and also chemical sensitive. Wool mattresses have no toxins, no latex, do not off gas, and have no toxic fire retardants. The customer service person (not sure, but I think she's the daughter of the owner) said her mother and sister have latex allergies and were OK with their latex and asked me to try one of their organic latex pillows. I agreed in hopes of compromise and getting this resolved, even though it's not a wool mattress. I tried the organic latex pillow and broke out in hives. Of all the crazy off the wall things, after breaking out in hives from the latex pillow test, they offered to give me a free box spring instead of a new mattress to replace my failed mattress. I have a platform type bed that I bought from them when I purchased the mattress. It is 100% complaint with the mattress warranty and in very good condition! My 20 year non-prorated warranty is for the mattress! It's not for a box spring, not a latex mattress... it's for a wool\spring mattress. Shop elsewhere! They don't stand behind the warranty's for their mattresses.

When we asked again at customer service, an older woman dressed professionally told us the bed frame, new or a floor model, doesn't come with instructions. She was rude, condescending, and implied it "doesn't take a rocket scientist" to assemble a bed frame. She also claimed furniture made in Vietnam doesn't come with instructions, which is completely false. The lack of instructions was disappointing, but the dismissive, rude, and unprofessional customer service was even more so. I cannot recommend this location and will not return.
