They sold my "debt" to a collection agency after I more than paid in full, after they didn't properly bill my insurance. Never answer the phone, never return phone calls or letters in bill payments sent by mail. They have not spelled their name correctly as it should read "Lose Sleep by being Victimized by this Institute of Theft." Not Good. The two star score, "Meh, I've experienced better" doesn't quite fit as the CPAP supply store situation is absolutely dismal in Southeast Wisconsin. Frankly, I haven't experienced better. But it is certainly not "A-OK" at the three star level. The CPAP2Go fiefdom rules from this castle (metaphorically, actually it's designed as a very peaceful serene garden like setting inside with an actual garden on the outside of the inside), but that doesn't mean there's any centralized organization. Their record keeping is regrettable. I usually go to the CPAP2Go location in Pewaukee even though it's a half hour drive for me from home because I have a part time job in the area and the CPAP supply choices in Milwaukee are horrifying. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, when those of us who suffer from sleep apnea are considered more at risk, this location couldn't locate records from the Pewaukee location. They shut down the Pewaukee location temporarily. The result is to get supplies while we're not getting paid at our jobs is that they can't bill insurance from this location so we have to buy the life supporting replacement equipment on a credit card. I'm pretty sure this isn't even guileless corporate profiteering, it's just shoddy record keeping and poorly paid low level front line workers with no discretion allowed. The workers I've met here, like at Pewaukee have been nice, so that makes the place better than the dreaded Ho'Medical (what a name, do only sluts with breathing problems shop there?" or CPAP SnoreNoMore ( THE WORST) where they aren't even polite. The place is really nice, it's one of the most pleasant waiting rooms I've ever waited in. But for the love of Mike I don't know why it's so hard to just keep proper records of long-term regular patients and get into a routine of billing insurance properly, pandemic or not. Worst most unprofessional place I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. First off, decor looks like a funeral home. Even with an appt, expect to wait at least an hour. Staff unfriendly. AND YOU CAN NEVER REACH THEM BY PHONE. They never call you back. Study was done in November 2019. Got the bill months later with no breakdown as to the charges: what insurance paid. After 2 weeks of calling finally got statement in March 2020. Paid in full. It's 4/22 and I constantly get phonecalls/mailings - that bill is overdue. Called them twice - no response. I am mailing them a copy of my bank statement along with a letter. Also reporting them to the State. I'd NEVER recommend this place. Absolutely horrible. read more

This company is unbelievably still open. With the lack of care, lazy help who revels in contradicts and talks down to their clients (if they talk at all...). I am amazed that they haven't gone out of business. Nice to finally have a doctor to read (to me) my sleep study results. As the new (4th) machine came pre-programmed (1/3 incorrectly, I must add). Paying for a doctor is a gross waste of time and money. That machine was picked up January 2019. It's mid-October, and their "Coaches" never returned my calls-that's 10 months of my asking for help with a very expensive Bi-Pap machine made by Philips (a firm I have a lot of respect for). But... Turns out, their Tech Support people don't return calls or emails either. The machine has an App to give me detailed information on the last night's sleep, and machine functionality. It doesn't work either, nor do their Tech Support people don't return calls or emails either. I've had my own business and the first thing we did with a new hire was to train them in proper customer service & repeat until it was their mantra. Nothing out some over priced seminars, part of my degree, or a pile of management books and websites. Nope, we based it simply on The Golden Rule. It was not Rocket Surgery, just plain & simple, logical thinking that we imparted to our employees. AND IT WORKED! Why a company like The Sleep Wellness Institute completely ignore Customer Service baffles me. So, if a company ignores simple principles, and talks down to their clients blows my mind. Oh yeah, and... Properly treating Sleep Apnea (obstructive and central), we are told is critical to the lives of those needing it. Reggie White (former Green Bay Packer, for you kids out there) died from complications of Sleep Apnea. Our High School Vice-Principal, a great guy in his mid 30s-family man, and mentor to many died from this as well.* Oh, don't get me going on their billing and other ancillary services. Nope-I've got better things to do than to continue bitching about a company that is obviously unaware that their clients actually need support, need supplies on a monthly basis, and that they will lose the people who pay their salaries. I have been going to this location for about the last 10+ years and the customer has seriously deteriorated for some reason. Not sure if they are under new ownership or what the problem is. You can never talk to anyone when you call, it may take them a day or two to call you back if they call you back at all. Please feel free to go there but just know that this is the type of customer service that you can expect. Just read all the other reviews. With the way that this place is now being run, I don't expect that they will be around much longer. I am taking my business elsewhere. They seem like they don't need customers to stay in business!!! When I had my original sleep study done five years ago, I felt that I received excellent care. Well, something has changed and not for the better, so my suggestion is to look elsewhere for help. I had another study done a couple of months ago. The follow up from the MD was at least a week later than promised. Long story short, the follow up from then on has been bad to non existent. Want to talk to a human? Forget it. Their phone system is carefully designed to divert calls only to voice mail. Return calls happen days later, if at all. If you miss their call.......oh well. There are too many other good options to have to put up with this nonsense. read more

I went to the Cpap location in Waukesha. The two young ladies Karice and Nicki was awesome. I called earlier in the day and Karice answered all the questions I had. It felt good to call the sleep wellness clinic and someone actually picked up. When I arrived to their location both Karice and Nicki helped me get everything I needed. The next day I had some questions after using the machine. Nicki walked me through what I needed to do and I was greatly appreciative. Both young ladies had awesome customer service and was down to earth. Thanks again for all your help and if I need anything else Waukesha is where I will get my supplies because of Karice and Nicki professionalism. read more

This place is impossible. I cant get supplies, I cant get ANYONE to return phone calls, including Manager. I cant get anyone to help me pay my bill, as my phone isnt capable of doing so. My fiancé gets his care here - go anywhere else. They never call back even after several phone calls. He hasn't had a working CPap for going on 3 months as they sent him the wrong size mask after using this almost 2 years. He was told his mask would be here last week. He still doesn't have it. When I first used the Sleep Wellness Institute in 2014, I was pleased with the service and the product. However, I have found their customer service to be seriously lacking as of late. It is impossible to reach them by phone - their lines are constantly busy during all opening hours. If you use their call back option, they do not ever bother calling back. Agree with the other reviews here on this site. The office is beautiful some of the staff is very good but the front reception needs better training on customer service and confidentiality . Also a reception should have someone fluent in English as second language, not yelling at a client in Spanish,as this is what happened the last I had to stop in. I would suggest calling other places before a sleep study if you have to have one done. Compare the costs. As they are one of most expensive sleep study's in the county check with your insurance for the usual and customary cost of what they pay for a sleep study . This facility is very expensive. And whether insurance covers it all ... very surprising if they do but become a wise consumer and find the place with best price and mostly comfortable procedure. Don't just go where your Dr refers you that we did and big mistake! This is not a night in a hotel you need an excellent sleep tech and a good bed and well functioning instruments to detect your sleep ahi, and rest analysis. The sleep tech was great very professional. It is ok and your right to ask questions. If they don't like you asking too bad You are paying for this and their wages . Be careful with billing. They are short on staff in there billing so it is very hard to get a hold of them and their explanation of pricing needs to be better. Someone is profiting greatly from this business but not the hourly staff so it's not their fault they can only work with what that are provided. This company's directors need to strive to do better. They have been in Mke a long time and maybe too comfortable with their process which definitely needs improvement. It's a pain but shop around it will be worth it on the long run read more

STAY AWAY! You will not get to talk to anyone. Your doctor or his office will not be able to contact them. Your service regarding equipment and masks is horrible. Because of the lack of professionalism on the companies part, you will not get the health help you need. IF YOU GO WITH THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL BE SORRY. REGARDLESS of what your health professional tells you, go somewhere else. Problems develop after the sleep study. If your doctor needs reading from your machine at the time of your next appointment, most likely he will not be able to obtain the information on a timely manner. read more

Just came home from my study. I previously read numerous negative reviews and from my experience (short of getting my results) couldn't be more positive. Stephanie, my sleep tech, was great. Very friendly and informative throughout. She filled me in on what to expect, answered my questions and was very professional throughout. The West Allis facility is very nice. My original sleep study went well, I liked my Dr. (who is no longer there) and the staff was great (years ago). Over the years though I've felt like my experience with them just keeps getting worse and worse. Expect excessive wait times for anything. No one ever answers the phone either at the main location in West Allis or their strip mall store in Waukesha. You leave a message and if you ever get a callback, it takes days. I have moved from WI to MO and am trying to get my CPAP supplies refilled. Local providers will not even talk to me without a new sleep study and I am unable to get a new one scheduled until late January 2020. My last study was done earlier this year there and SLI holds the prescription for insurance coverage. They have the worst customer service of any medical facility I have ever utilized. They should not even be in business. Sleep apnea care was much more patient friendly back when hospitals had their own sleep centers before they farmed out that area of health care. read more

I have been going the Sleep Wellness over 7 years. The last couple years it has been a real pain to speck to someone and they Do Not return calls. I have cancelled my supplies due to leaving the area. I keep getting sent a bill which just came this week for a charge from June 2019. Which has had the same items to be charged again. I tried to called and the women Linda would not be in the office til 31 December 2019, I was told to call the another number and speck to a Pam but the call goes straight to voice mail. I will be glad to get rid of this company, you can not just to speak to them you have to call and call and hope they call you back. read more

DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! I have never seen (or met) the doctor who is supposed to be interpreting this study. I have been back once to get a mouth piece. I came as a walk-in. I waited about 20 minutes to get a new nose and mouth piece. I have paid my fees on time. I am in need of new supplies and have placed five calls. The second one was returned during the time I was at the dentist (1 hour all told) and I returned that call to the someone who left a return number with a name and direct line number. Called and still have not heard back, 3 days later. Now I have called for 3 consecutive days to a person's direct line leaving my name (spelled), DOB, and home and cell phone numbers. Still no call. I feel that phone calls should be returned, that at the initial sleep study your follow up should be with the doctor who should be interacting with the patient and explaining the diagnosis and expectations. When I see my pulmonologist again, I will advise my doctor to FIND ANOTHER CPAC VENDOR to refer patients to. Also, the materials list for replacement of necessary supplies has ridiculous prices. Medicare needs to be checking the prices charged for these supplies. read more

I show up. I am the only one in the waiting room. I am 15 mins early. I wait a total of 35 mins, and still haven't been helped. I am simply picking up supplies for my CPAP. Every time I have gone in this place, the staff has made me feel like it was an inconvenience to help me. I will find another place to get my supplies. read more

I just had a sleep study last weekend and I can not complain about much. I think we are very fortunate to have a dedicated facility and staff in the area to help with this fairly specialized problem. I had a study done 25+ years ago in a hospital via a clinic across the street in GB. Unfortunately there was not any follow up work done. I am looking forward to getting my results and will try to update this post thereafter. So far it's all positive. read more

This was the worst experience i have had, i was told a sleep number bed would be available, the bed i had was a disgrace, it sunk in the middle, they told me i did not fit their profile, of course i didnt because i couldnt sleep, my car was also vandalized while there, they claim they have no camera's, please if you have insurance dont go to the sleep wellness institute, it is a farce, they have electronic stimulus in the rooms (t.v.) which goes against the sleep studies that have been conducted, they offered no alternatives, going forward i hope they get some common sense and invest in some quality beds for the patients who are interested in their health, and would like to know if they have a sleep issue, tread lightly if you are thinking of going to the sleep wellness institute.
