I've been reading all the bad reviews for Advent Knows. Maybe these reviews are for another…read morecompany. All I know is I had a great experience at Advent's Dublin, Ohio location. I am a 70 year old male that has had breathing problems for at least 30 years. The procedure I had was as advertised. I can't remember the last time I breathed this well. AND, my Medicare w/supplement covered the costs. I could not be more pleased.

I completely regret trusting Advent with my sinus issues. The initial visit was informative and…read morethey assured me that my deviated septum wasn't the main cause of my sinus issues and that a balloonoplasty and turbinate reduction would provide me relief. I also have a cyst in my maxillary sinus that was touched on in the appointment, but wasn't taken care of during the procedure. After the procedure, I had multiple cleaning appointments, all with different ENTs. None of them seemed to be on the same page with aftercare and concerns. I even had one ENT administer numbing spray and then leave the room after. I had a reaction to it and passed out alone in the treatment room. When she found me, she said it could happen sometimes. why leave me alone then? Anyways, each cleaning I insisted symptoms were not improving and they kept telling me keep giving it time. So i did, following aftercare thoroughly. When I had my last visit, I still didn't feel better even though I was supposed to be fully healed by then. I requested another CT scan to see if there was improvement from the procedure but they denied my request and told me to wait another 6 weeks to make sure everything was healed. Mind you, I was told I was healing on time and everything looked great. I seeked out a second opinion because I was tired of not being heard. Within one appointment with the new ENT i saw, she identified scar rings from the turbinate reduction that scarred onto my cartilage, creating an obstruction. She also said there's no way I could remove the cyst without fixing my septum diviation which is more serious than it was made out to be by Advent. So now I have to get a septoplasty, turbinate reduction to fix the scarring, fix my concha bullosa, and remove the cyst that has now taken over my entire sinus cavity. I wonder why none of the ENTs I saw at Advent after my procedure never mentioned seeing any of the scarring in my nose. I felt so dismissed throughout my time working with Advent. I'm so disappointed. They will not recieve a payment from me until this is sorted out. The images I shared are findings from a CT i got after everything i had done with Advent. This is from a different network of ENT.

Never answer the phone, never return phone calls or letters in bill payments sent by mail. They have not spelled their name correctly as it should read "Lose Sleep by being Victimized by this Institute of Theft." Not Good. The two star score, "Meh, I've experienced better" doesn't quite fit as the CPAP supply store situation is absolutely dismal in Southeast Wisconsin. Frankly, I haven't experienced better. But it is certainly not "A-OK" at the three star level. The CPAP2Go fiefdom rules from this castle (metaphorically, actually it's designed as a very peaceful serene garden like setting inside with an actual garden on the outside of the inside), but that doesn't mean there's any centralized organization. Their record keeping is regrettable. I usually go to the CPAP2Go location in Pewaukee even though it's a half hour drive for me from home because I have a part time job in the area and the CPAP supply choices in Milwaukee are horrifying. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, when those of us who suffer from sleep apnea are considered more at risk, this location couldn't locate records from the Pewaukee location. They shut down the Pewaukee location temporarily. The result is to get supplies while we're not getting paid at our jobs is that they can't bill insurance from this location so we have to buy the life supporting replacement equipment on a credit card. I'm pretty sure this isn't even guileless corporate profiteering, it's just shoddy record keeping and poorly paid low level front line workers with no discretion allowed. The workers I've met here, like at Pewaukee have been nice, so that makes the place better than the dreaded Ho'Medical (what a name, do only sluts with breathing problems shop there?" or CPAP SnoreNoMore ( THE WORST) where they aren't even polite. The place is really nice, it's one of the most pleasant waiting rooms I've ever waited in. But for the love of Mike I don't know why it's so hard to just keep proper records of long-term regular patients and get into a routine of billing insurance properly, pandemic or not. For some of us, these are life or death conditions.

Staff unfriendly. AND YOU CAN NEVER REACH THEM BY PHONE. They never call you back. Study was done in November 2019. Got the bill months later with no breakdown as to the charges: what insurance paid. After 2 weeks of calling finally got statement in March 2020. Paid in full. It's 4/22 and I constantly get phonecalls/mailings - that bill is overdue. Called them twice - no response. I am mailing them a copy of my bank statement along with a letter. Also reporting them to the State. I'd NEVER recommend this place. Absolutely horrible.

For clarity up front, I am reviewing Krissy Connor DDS as a business entity. Not the service that…read morethe business offers, or the skills knowledge and expertise that Krissy Connor DDS offers her clients because I received no such service from the medical practice. Why is this important? Because I want to be fair and limit my review to the areas I have experience in which hopefully lends credibility to the review itself. How can someone who did not receive any services provide a review you ask? What an excellent question. Let me answer that for you. In early 2023 I got a referral for sleep apnea from my ENT to Krissy Connor DDS to seek an alternative to treat sleep apnea. I scheduled a consultation with the office, and made the initial consultation appointment for February 9, 2023. I spent most of my time during that appointment idly waiting, or filling out medical history questionnaires (so far pretty typical for an initial consultation). Dr. Conner flew into the treatment room, and spent maybe 10-15 minutes talking over the options with me and went on her way (also, sadly this is pretty typical for an initial consultation). Other staffers spent an equal amount of time having me sign various disclosures and one of the documents I signed was a treatment plan estimate which had the heading: "Treatment includes initial exam, impressions, CBCT imaging, oral appliance and 3 months of adjustments". One point of clarification I made before I left the appointment was that I was not yet committed to undergoing the treatment which was quite expensive and offered no guarantee of results. The staffer made sure I know the decision was up to me and I had the right to not undergo treatment. I left the appointment having no agreement to undergo treatment plan or promising to pay for any services indicated in the treatment estimate. I evaluated the $6,600+ treatment plan against it likelihood of success and my willingness to spend that amount of money on a somewhat risky venture in addition to some certainty that I would have to replace appliances at a cost of $1200 several times over my lifetime. My decision was to not undergo treatment at that time. I notified the office staff during a follow up phone conversation that I was not interested in pursuing treatment and that was that, or so I thought. As time went by I more or less forgot about Krissy Connor DDS until I received a past due bill in late September 2023 threatening collections. Long story short the office was trying to bill me $500.00 for the initial consult that was supposed to have been part of a treatment plan that I did not accept. I went back and forth with the office for several months and eventually just decided to pay because I did not want to impact my otherwise unblemished credit score. The moral of this story is if you walk into the office for a consult, expect to pay $500.00 for the privilege.
