About 5 months ago l had the housemate move out and wanted a den/guest room, but what too put there? After way too many big chain furniture retailers with either over priced or ugly sleeper sofas a friend recommended Sleepers in Seattle. I went, found a great selection, with prices from wow this is cheap to WOW! (I'll be honest... I sort of wanted the WOW as my regular bed!) With that selection they have something for ever budget. I didn't get up selled the staff was great, but what I wanted was just out of my price range. While driving home I was already having second thoughts about not having bought the sleeper I wanted. I called and they agreed to hold it for me for several days while I figured it out. Turns out I figured it out and arranged delivery, there were great setting it up and delivered around my schedule not theirs. I have to say the delivery guys were 2 of the best delivery guys I have ever had bring anything to my house, due to a tight stairwell it took longer than they expected but they were happy to put the effort it. I know a sleeper sofa isn't a regular purchase but I know where I would go to buy one again and happily recommend them to any friend that is in the market for a sleeper sofa. read more

Worst customer service, ever! A part was missing on a sleeper sofa we purchased from them. I have now waited more than two months for the part to arrive. And it's still not here. Information from them has only been when I contact them - and then there isn't really any information. They say that the company from whom they ordered the part is slow. Hmmm. This is my first YELP review and I was motivated to warn others about these scammers. Make sure you read the other bad reviews before you buy on the internet like I wish I had. Not only did these scammers sell me a defective sofa but their "White Glove Platinum Service" (that cost $140) did over $1400 in damage to my yard and home. They didn't return any of my calls or email complaints until 2 months after I disputed the credit card bill and then they had the nerve to dispute it - by submitting a phony proof of delivery with my signature forged. This company may be fine for local purchases, but their internet/online process is abysmal. We were supposed to get our sofa on December 22. We had scheduled our delivery through Manna, their 'white glove' delivery service, and had it all set up so we could have our sofa for the holidays. WITHOUT NOTIFYING US, Sleepers in Seattle changed their delivery process, so when I called Manna the morning of our delivery, they said that they were no longer the carrier. I contacted Sleepers in Seattle, and was told that my sofa was 'somewhere' getting wrapped for delivery. We rescheduled for today, January 2, 2015. I just got an email from Manna telling me they won't deliver my sofa until January 8. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless you are a local Seattle person. The customer service guy, Max, is 'nice' but really does not have any control over the messed up business model. It seems like this company bit off more than it could chew with internet sales. I expect delivery this week and am so glad I found them. We had a wonderful experience with Sleepers! We recently purchased our first home and started thinking about what we would want that would fit our space, be comfortable and durable. The staff were incredibly helpful sharing information about various options (sofas and fabric), answering our endless questions and all around making us feel so good about our purchase. Terribly unhappy with my purchase. I took the chance and ordered online as I really wanted a sectional feel with a queen sleeper. I could not find anything local that fit the bill. Sadly, the stanton 702 sofa is extremely uncomfortable. It leaves you with a very numb feeling after sitting for a short period. Also, I paid the extra $$$ to have the best mattress available added. I slept on it 2 nights and woke up with a back ache both mornings. I'm also not certain I actually received the upgrade but Leann in delivery said I had. Also, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. When I placed the order I expressed the importance of receiving it on time as I had overnight guests coming. While I was not given a guarantee, I did get a very reassuring "we're on it and we should be able to get it to you on time." When I called to check the status I was told they really had no control over it. It would have been nice if they'd told me that upfront. Finally, I had a terrible experience with delivery. Not only did it take well over 4-6 weeks to receive, it took 3 dates for them to do what they said they'd do. The first one they called at 7:30pm the night before to cancel on me (after I rearranged my schedule) and the second time, they simply didn't show up! I waited around all afternoon and after they didn't show up during the delivery window, I called and NO one knew anything. You would think I could have been called when the sofa wasn't put on the truck. After reaching out multiple times to Sleepers in Seattle and then to Manna, their distributor,. My sofa was finally delivered on the 3rd attempt 9 weeks after I ordered it. Simply disgusted by the whole thing. Would love a response from Sleepers in Seattle. read more

I live in Brooklyn, NY and after long hard online research, it seemed Sleepers in Seattle would be best to accommodate all of the requirements we needed / wanted for a leather sofa... we needed to carefully find one that would fit well in our small apartment, offer a 'comfortable' sleeper mattress for our parents who visit, and in a color that would blend well in our eclectic living room. ... scary though, to make such a huge investment without first seeing it in person. They first kindly sent me many leather swatches for free, allowing us to confidently feel good about the leather we would be choosing. I could tell from the start that their customer service was supreme... even if I phoned and they weren't open yet, they would call back acknowledging my missed call. Unfortunately, the 3rd-party delivery service they used was not so great -- I won't go into the details, but they weren't equipped for what they knew would be a 3 floor apartment walk up and damaged our couch. .... however, Sleepers in Seattle were amazing at taking care of the repairs! They sent a 'furniture medic' to fix the scraped leather, and sent 2 replacement legs. Although the process around everything took a lot of time and effort, I couldn't be happier with their quality level of customer support and our fabulous couch!! As I happily sit on it now while I write this review, I can say I fall more in love with our sofa every day!! It's firm, yet plush... the color is stunning, and sleeper foam mattress is wonderful (our guests have raved). Thank you Sleepers in Seattle :) PS. We bought an American Leather sleeper here for the quality of the sofa bed, and have been happy with it. However, 4 years in, the foam used in the seat cushions have unacceptable wear in them. The sofa was still under warranty, so I contacted Sleepers in Seattle and they said to take photos of the issue for them to send to American Leather for a warranty request. A few weeks later, viola...new cushions are delivered to our door. While I wish the seat cushions had been a better quality foam to begin with, I am very pleased with the customer service in handling the issue. read more

At first I was hesitant to order furniture all the way from Seattle, figuring it might be a safer bet to just buy from somewhere locally here in LA. But... they had a sectional sofa that I really wanted, so I gave them a chance. Before I made my purchase, I requested swatches of four different fabrics. I received the swatches in the mail three days later and found a pattern that fit perfectly in my living room. After choosing the pattern I spoke to a customer service rep ( I think his name was Jake), who was really friendly and personable, and nothing like the dull robot like reps that you get when you call up a huge company. I actually had one question he didn't know the answer to and he put me on the phone with the CEO! Who was able to clear up all of my concerns. So, despite my reservations about ordering furniture online, I took the plunge. I'm glad I did (it was definitely the largest purchase I've made online and it was pretty nerve wracking). They said delivery time was between 4-6 weeks and it arrived in under five weeks. The delivery guys were on time and everything went as smoothly as possible. I found Sleepers in Seattle on the internet, when I was about to give up and take a weekend to drive somewhere, and was able not only to order a beautiful couch and two matching ottomans, but could pick my fabric as well. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find that style in a sleeper, and after much research, I found Sleepers in Seattle was right in my neighborhood. I can't vouch for ordering online, but at their brick and mortar they were efficient and friendly and delivered right on time. AWFUL! First we call to place our order for a WHITE leather couch, in Denver White leather(Natuzzi), We spoke to Vivian who asked us what grade of leather we wanted we said soft, she said the only diffrence between Denver White and Belfast White are the grains of leather they are both WHITE. 16 weeks later we recieved our furniture IN CREAM? We proceded to call because we thought we recieved the wrong furniture, Vivian denies ever speaking to me when I placed the order and her boss Carlos said we can return it but only get a refund of $3200 when we paid $4900 for the furniture. We decided to keep it insteaded of continuing to argue with this dishonest company and give it to our daughter when she moves out. Then only having the furniture less than three weeks, one of the chairs broke, the whole frame underneath just broke. So we contacted Vivian to get a replacement. She fowarded our request to Mike who does not return phone calls or email. I finally speak to him and he says he has not herd from the manufacturer to resolve this. (Im sure the manufacturer is in contact with him for new orders each day). So we may have take this case to small claims court to resolve this. This company is dishonest, has terrrible customer service, the furniture is very poorly built and over priced(At least the Natuzzi collection). In no way would I ever recommend them. Ordered a sleeper sofa at the beginning of September. The sofa was one of their basic models, but we did order custom fabric. We were moving into a new house, and I wanted to "shop local". It's now the week before Christmas and we have guests arriving shortly. They've never called to give us updates...and the story when we call changes depending on who you talk to. We were offered a sofa from the floor (?!)...and no you can't get a refund on your deposit even though it will be months late when and if it arrives. Bottom line is my daughter will now be sleeping in the laundry room on an air mattress for the holidays, and our family and friends will be sitting on camp chairs when watching tv, or just hanging out. Crazy! I too will go back to the larger stores for our furniture needs in the future. Things happen - they could have turned the whole thing around with positive and proactive customer service. I am amazed at how smoothly my entire experience was. From viewing the website for the very first time, to receiving my swatches, calling and talking to several people, receiving updates and delivery. It was all so incredibly easy, friendly, and helpfu. There was never a question that was not answered fully on a timely basis. Even when I realized the delivery I had was not to the room but to the door only, the person who assisted me gave me the information as to whom to call (their delivery vendor) and I was able to change it! The service was great, I love my sofa (the swatches were true to the quality and color of the leather) and I am planing to buy an other sleeper later in the year for my other room. I cannot say enough good about my entire experience with my purchase of a sleeper sofa back in 2016 - from the multiple times I requested fabric swatches to the back and forth emails with Max about "should I choose this or should I choose that?". Not only do I love my Lazar Cameron Paragon Full Sleeper, but my friends are amazed that I actually ordered it online sight unseen. Ok - so it took about three months to pin down the right sofa in the right fabric, but I made a great decision! The Lazar sleeper is absolutely perfect - easy to open and darn comfortable for sitting and sleeping. The sofa was even delivered earlier than expected, which meant the linens I had ordered were delayed as Savvy was waiting for the original sofa delivery date to ship the linens. One email to Max to express my concern, and the linens arrived shortly after (though I would not recommend the sheets, since they were expensive and don't fit well at all). If you have ever shopped for a sleeper sofa and were going to "settle" - DON'T DO IT!!! Trust me! So glad I shopped around online and found Savvy Furniture. The quality of the Lazar sleepers is hands-down way beyond the other more expensive sleepers I almost settled on from a "box" store. Even our delivery team was impressed, and said that this was the heaviest and best quality sleeper they've ever delivered. I highly recommend Savvy Furniture for great quality and service - even from 3,000 miles away. Plus Lazar makes one of the most comfortable and easy to open sleeper sofas I've seen. I purchased a Natuzzi sleeper sofa from Sleepers in Seattle based on the positive reviews that I read on the Web. This sofa was for my vacation rental. Ordering was fine and delivery was set up. My property manager accepted the delivery. Unfortunately, he did not inspect to sofa close enough and signed off. When I arrived a few weeks later, I noticed 2 large box cutter scratches on the sofa, along with the corner of leather sofa rubbed off. When I contacted Sleepers in Seattle about this, they said to email the pictures. I followed through and then called to see what could be done. I agree, it was our fault for not spotting the damage immediately. However, Sleepers in Seattle led me on, saying maybe something could be done. I was told to call the delivery company and work with them. I spoke with the delivery company many times, and they said I needed to speak with Sleepers in Seattle. Essentially, I was being passed around. I proceeded to find a repair person on my own, since Sleepers in Seattle could not find one for me. I paid for it and submitted the receipt to Sleepers in Seattle (which the manager had instructed me to do). Now, after 4 months of this nonsense, and only after I emailed Sleepers again, I find out that my claim was denied. I should have been told immediately that there was no way this would be remedied and not have been passed around by Sleepers in Seattle and the delivery company. This was a big waste of my time. The customer service was appalling. For a $2000 couch, you would expect to have some decent service and be told the truth (even if it's not good news). My property manager told me that box cutters weren't even used during the delivery. The entire couch was shrink-wrapped, so the cuts must have happened at the warehouse. So the couch was already damaged before delivery. Let's deliver a damaged couch and hope we get away with it. The couch itself is beautiful and comfortable. i would recommend the couch but not the store. Don't bother with the platinum delivery. I thought paying more for the delivery service would ensure my couch arriving in pristine condition. What a waste of money. What's even more ironic is that I just received an email telling me to recommend Sleepers in Seattle to my friends on facebook. Hah! Who are they kidding? If you have no timetable for getting your sofa and like dealing with sub-contractors then this is your place. I ordered a sleeper sofa at the end of March. The site stated that the time to make and ship the sofa would be 6-8 weeks. Sleepers in Seattle orders and has the sofa made by another company. 3 MONTHS LATER and after numerous emails and phone calls my sofa is allegedly on its way. It evidently takes nearly 10 days for a trucker to drive from N. Carolina (where is was made) to Ohio. The contracted "white glove" delivery company (Manna) then subs their delivery job out to another local company. Finally got the sofa and I do like it (although the matress that comes with it is horrible - I recommend you plan on getting a much better mattress from Amazon...don't pay for theirs). If you have no time table for getting a sofa - go ahead and buy from them. Otherwise, save the headaches and lack of any empathetic customer service and go anywhere else. read more

Non-existing customer service at Sleepers in Seattle ... ! We bought a queen sleeper sofa plus White Glove Service. When it arrived it was clear that the local delivery guys had no expertise in moving furniture and came with an attitude already. There was much discussion about how to get it up to the second floor rather than attempting it. No support from Sleepers in Seattle. In fact, WE had to try to get in touch with them and press for a solution, unfortunately without success. The cancellation of the order four weeks after the 'delivery attempt' finally got their attention. They were 'willing' to refund less than half of the purchase price with the argument we need to pay for shipping back and forth. We opted for redelivery w/o White Glove Service, just to the front door. We asked a couple of friends to help getting it up and voilà - it was done in less then 10 min ... Before you order from Sleepers in Seattle be aware that you won't get any support from them if the local delivery is not up to par delivering furniture or for any other reason. The sleeper sofa we purchased in December arrived damaged, but not from the delivery. There were obvious scratches and marks--one that looked like a cigarette burn they had tried to repair in the middle of one of the seat cushions. I followed Sleepers In Seattle rules in alerting them about the damage on the phone and sent them photos while the delivery guys were still at my home. The SIS Customer Service Manager advised he would forward the photos to the manufacturer and get back to me. I had to call him numerous times over several weeks to find out how the problem would be resolved. Eventually he told me the marks were just part of the leather--clearly they weren't--so I tracked down the manufacturer (Klaussner Home Furnishings) myself. The CS rep at Klaussner looked at the photos, agreed about the damage and is now sending a new cushion. To do this, i needed to send her a cut from the swatch on the sofa, plus documentation. The SIS manager was suppose to follow up regarding some form of compensation for selling and sending a damaged product but never did. They kept the full amount of what we paid and didn't even try to provide decent customer service nor take any responsibility. Bad business practices are unacceptable. If you can purchase from an honest local business, do so. read more

Afte a very bad experience with More furniture for Less, I was so thankful to find Sleepers in Seattle! Their salesperson was so helpful and took consideration of my door's width to make sure I choose a sofabed that fits. I am busy with work and they managed to deliver in the time that worked for me. Their delivery people, Jose and Johi(may not correct spelling) were super! To avoid the door damage the sofabed, Jose even helped me remove my door and get it back after moving the sofabed in. On the contrast, More Furniture for Les delivery people refused to do anything that protected the sofabed and they broke it easily when trying to squeeze in(they asked me to sign the waive so that they didn't have to take responsibility for any damage). It also proved how poor the quality is of their products. Don't buy anything from More Furniture for Less unless you would deal with all troubles. Sleepers in Seattle is the best choice if you need a good sofa bed. read more

If you want to wait several weeks for a couch that is advertised as 'quick ship' and don't mind getting treated as an inconvenience by their rude delivery agents, and pay premium prices for this, then by all means, place an order and see how long their version of 'quick ship' is. They claim they have 'no control over their delivery agent's schedule' yet they advertise the product as a 'quick ship' product (which of course was already purchased and paid for before they made their claim of 'no control'). It's simply false advertising that induces paying customers to purchase a product that takes weeks to deliver, requiring customers to make constant phone calls to the delivery agent to get them to confirm a time. Simply not worth anyone's time or money, not even for the most perfect product (and the quality of the product cannot even be evaluated due to it not having been delivered in weeks). Save yourself time and money and go with an established furniture store that doesn't make false claims and understands the importance of working with reliable delivery agents who seem to care abut customer service. read more

I purchased a Savvy Calgary Queen Sleeper in one of the leather options. Sleepers in real leather are hard to find, and this ended up being just an alright option for me due to some quality and delivery issues. First off our delivery was delayed, without the delivery company or Sleepers in Seattle informing me. I believe this was the fault of the delivery company, and Sleepers in Seattle did their best to rectify the situation as quickly as possible, but the end result was a family party with no couch...so that's a problem. Eh, that we can and did survive. So we got our couch, without the sliders on the bottom (two broke in transport which was the delivery holdup) and were awaiting delivery of the sliders to affix to the bottom, which was fine with us. Except when the sliders arrived they weren't the correct ones for our couch. Fine. Couch is still perfectly useable. Now a few months out from purchase already one of the seams in the pillows that came with the couch ripped out, plus one of our leather cushions is ripped in the back. I have no idea if that is how it was delivered (hubby was home to accept delivery) or if we somehow ripped it (but we've had only all-leather furniture for the past 15 years and have never ripped leather before, so that's pretty questionable I'd have to say). So, the leather tear is not visible, the pillow seam I fixed, the gliders are not necessary for the couch to function....but when you combine all three issues plus the late delivery from their delivery company of choice, for a $2,000-plus purchase I'd put this into the "hassle to buy from this company" category and I, personally, would steer clear. read more

Bought a small space sleeper. Had it sent to MD. Which meant it had to go through the delivery company they use - Manna; who then passes it off to the local distributor, Translogistix who then contracts it out. Couch is very nice - I would suggest getting the deluxe matress. It's amazing. The delivery people could barely lift the couch up the inside stairs and ended up immediately crashing it through my window next to the stairs. I mentioned that they went through the window but my husband said to at least let them get it upstairs. I confronted them about it and got a "who me" - and it was a VERY defensive tone. I took pictures; we wrote a note on the delivery slip, which I had them initial - they DO NOT let you keep a copy of the slip (warning bells!!!!) so I took a picture of that too. I sent pictures of the antique broken window and the initialed delivery slip to Sleepers and Translogistix. Sleepers kept on top of this and we were compensated for out window. read more
