If I could give this place more than 5 starts I would. Delicious food and friendly staff. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was great but I haven't stopped thinking about that hashbrown casserole. It's the only breakfast place in the area that's not fast food as far as I could tell but the people in Wiggins are lucky to have it. read more

Adorable little place but food needs work. Ordered traditional eggs Benny and Cajun. Both orders the eggs came out hard boiled. The muffins they were on were cold and dry. Both had pretty good sauce but not enough. As a side I got the grits which were the best thing we had and he paid $2 extra for the hash brown casserole. It came out cold and flavorless. Exquisite dining in Wiggins? YES. We came for breakfast, (open 7 to 2.) I had the ham Cheese omelet with hashbrown casserole and bread pudding. Delicious. My husband had the cajun omlete with gouda grits. Our son had chicken & waffles with fruit. He is very finicky and liked everything. He had the berry smoothy and we had coffee. Nothing disappointed. We were unable to finish everything. The portions are good. This is our go to place when we come to Wiggins now. I have suspicions we will be making the hour trip from home just to brunch here. read more

This place is super cute. I absolutely loved the vibe of the place. It definitely felt like a cute little coffee shop in a small town. The food was delicious. The scrambled eggs were some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant, and the biscuits were amazing!! So soft and flaky. Just perfect in my opinion. That peach smoothie was really delicious. I usually do not like peach drinks; however, some leaked off top of cup onto my hand before I could take it home to my mom - I drank half before I got there. Sorry mom!! Way too good. Negative: I personally was not satisfied. I ordered 2 classic omelets. I'm from Texas but I still know the difference between a crepe and an omelet. The two were inconsistent. One was a thin flat messy circle and the other was flipped over in half pan form but also as thin as a crepe. The breakfast tacos were small but well filled. The eggs Benedict was over cooked like a hard boiled egg. It was not worth the $66 that I paid. Asked about mugs/sweater/shirts to buy. Seems too overpriced. $30 & $60 respectively. read more

The ambiance is as warm as the big bear hug. It nice place along the highway and I hope they will be here for a long time. We will be sleeping on sleepy bear in the future (ha ha). The marketing and atmosphere are great, but the food quality is sub-par for the price you pay. The eggs were very-light colored and the cheese looked like the cheap sticky kind from Walmart. I think we paid a total of $40+ for 2 plates when we could have gotten similar quality food at Waffle House. The taste and atmosphere are decent, but it's simply overpriced for the quality of food you will receive. read more

If you are into restaurants with pretty logos and trendy interior designs, this place is for you! If you want decent food at a reasonable price, go to Waffle House or Arby's across/down the street. Ordered the Sleepy Bear Breakfast Platter with the Gouda Grits, Cajun Omelette with Hashbrown Casserole and a Basket of Biscuits. With two drinks the total came up to $35.91. The amount of food you get is very small portions and the quality and taste is less than a McDonald's breakfast. I am 100% puzzled as to how this place has really good reviews. The Gouda Grits were served luke-warm AT BEST, the omelette had NO CHEESE, the bacon tasted like it was marinated in melted Halls cough drops and the eggs were dry and rubbery.. The biscuits were about the only thing that was barely edible and 3 of them will cost you $7.. And they aren't even as good as the ones you'd get at a chain restaurant like Cracker Barrel FOR FREE! If you're looking to support a local business (I'm guessing this due to the non-stop blaring Christian Praise Music) go for it! I'm pretty sure they will be more than happy to take your money. We had biscuit breakfast sandwiches and the biscuits were perfect! We especially enjoyed the hash brown casserole (which seemed on the lighter versus heavier side). Food was awful. Really awful. Beignets was a JOKE. Surely they have never had a real beignet if they think this is what one is. It was soaked and dripping with grease- tasted more like a fried biscuit soaked in grease. I was suppose to get strawberries with it which I did not. Extremely over priced - even if it was the best beignet you ever had that's extremely over priced. Sandwich was terrible. Awful flavor. Very overrated and overpriced. Asked multiple staff for attention as I had issues (including not getting any strawberries) to which I never got any help. One young girl nearly bit my head off and said "mam I am busy- go to the counter if you need something" I really wanted to like this place as everyone had been buzzing about it but it was clear it was just getting hype because it's a small town and the owners are "the popular kids" who owns half the town. I really was excited about the new option in this small town but guess if you want good food your still gonna have to drive out of Wiggins! Try it- maybe you will have better luck.
